Among so many other things, race relations in this country are broken. Why? Because far too many people in this country are wrapped around the differences we have based on the color of our skin. When folks stop looking at someone and identifying them by their skin color and start looking at them for their character we can start making up some of the ground lost over the last several years in how various races and even individuals of similar races get along with each other.
I know from personal experience having been at liberal colleges/universities since 2001 that what you said is denying racism and is racist, white privilege, etc. Equality isn't the goal for the Powers That Be in charge of the BLM-type movements, or the NAACP, etc. In their view, from everything I ever heard going to their speeches/seminars (course requirements, extra credit, etc.), Treating people the same regardless of the color of their skin is a NO-NO because whites can never make up for what they did to the blacks throughout history. According to them, blacks are separate and will never be the same as whites as human beings, because history. Along with that comes mandatory legislative differences to ensure "equality", though (yeah, record scratch). In my opinion, it's a perpetuation of victimhood because it's one HELL of a profit tool for those same groups.Quote:

The most desired human emotion is "righteous anger".
