Looking for a AK gunsmith in the local Denver area to do some work for me!
Is it a function issue or changing out of parts?
Get a hammer and file. You're now an ak gunsmith
Bert's no longer doing smithing. Here's one of his last replies on the subject, thanks to ITAR

Depending what you want to have done, post it here. While AK's are a different beast than AR's, most of the general work that people want done are triggers or stocks all of which is extremely easy. Plenty of knowledge on here to direct you in the right way or will show you where the directions are for it.
Bump, may need a bullet guide moved back.
I think Hickman down in the springs knows AKs. I'd play it safe and send it out to one of the guys out there that specialize only in AKs.
Also, what are the symptoms that make you think it's a bullet guide issue as well well as what is the make/model? Could probably post over at the AKFiles and get a good answer for you.
I'v talked to the AKFiles crowd. Which is where the bullet guide issue came from. Just want to keep the work local.
