My theory on the "OMG Russia hacked the election!" nonsense.

Here's what I think happened:

• The Russians were trying to gain access to both RNC and DNC computers in order to dig for info on whomever would be the next president so they had some leverage (they were only successful with the DNC computers).
• The DNC were busy rigging the primary for Hillary and part of this included hacking the computers and/or emails of several states' election officials.
• The FBI was investigating the Russian hacking into the DNC and when the DNC found out that the FBI discovered the Russians had hacked them, they stonewalled (and sent their server to a 3rd party for "investigation") because they didn't want the FBI to find the evidence that they'd rigged the primaries (and hacked local election officials).
• Seth Rich leaked the Podesta emails (and other stuff) to Wikileaks (and Hillary had him murdered for it).

So they came up with this cock and bull story that it was Trump colluding with the Russians to "rig" our election by leaking the Podesta emails and hacking the election officials.

Or it could just be that the liberals are stupid and unable to cope with the fact that they lost and need a safe space.

I suspect that explains why so many rank-and-file democrats are so quick to believe the BS from their leadership. But when it comes to the DNC leadership I prefer to oppose Hanlon's Razor.

I think partly both. Even if Russia did have a hand in attempting to influence the election results, is it any different than Obama trying to get Israel to elect the guy running against Netanyahu?

What? No way that could have happened... Just like Bill didn't meet with the AG to discuss anything beyond grandkids, and Hillary didn't send any classified info to/from her private servers, and Hillary didn't have laptops and cellphones destroyed by hammer... and, oh never mind. [Coffee]

Why does the server have to be hacked? Just copy everything in the data stream. Then decode the data at leisure. Or brute force decrypt with quantum computing.

Obama, you mean Mr. "Tell Vladimir I'll be more flexibility after the election" Obama?

The truth is, the Russians likely had dirt on Obama, and probably Hillary too and they'd had undue influence over Obama (which also worked out well since Obama hates America more than Putin does) and would have had more influence over Hillary (assuming she didn't start WWIII over Syrian air space).

Here is the other option. It has already been admitted that the Feds...FBI/CIA have the exact same hacking programs that Russia has...this all could have been done by our own people

I'm still not sure what the big deal is even if they did. Is anyone naive enough to believe that the US isn't doing the same thing? Sorry didn't see the previous post.

Hillary isn't president.

I wouldn't put anything past that power hungry Hillary and it wouldn't surprise me if the order to murder Seth Rich came directly from her lips.

You wouldn't be suggesting that the Obama administration would do something like that to the trump administration would you? I mean the Obama administration was so honest and trustworthy. They wouldn't do something like that. 😁😁

It's honestly not to far fetched. Because they knew they could control the outcome of any investigation directed at them. Especially since they expected to just slide right into the White House.

Bingo. Tho I am not so sure they thought the election was a given. This could have been done specifically to try and claim the russians interfered and thus the election was null and void.

Mrs. Clinton, Mr Podesta etc. Could you please clarify for the American People. Why have none of you denied anything that was leaked by wikileaks under the guise of alleged Macedonian Hackers .
If the emails were hacked when will you provide the actual emails to show us the truth.

I figured the Russians were trying to hack any politicians and political groups they could but either couldn't get into the RNC or Trump's servers or did get in and couldn't find anything interesting or useful. The Dems and Clinton on the other hand ...
