according to the scanner 3 deputies and 2 civilians were hit, and swat eliminated the threat just a little while ago. it was at a apt. complex in the 3400 block of east County Line Rd. the initial call from the officers on scene woke me up from a dead sleep.
Non critical injuries according to news
mods may delete these if they feel they are inappropriate but here are a couple of the calls from the scene, they are spine chilling eye openers thats for sure.

Do we have any more details on what exactly happened?

was a dv call, then all hell broke loose and then they switched to a different channel I believe because the suspect was listening to the radio of the downed officer inside the apt and it was tipping him off to their movements. sent you a pm gunner
Just saw that I was driving out to the airport this morning and had to get on at Quebec and coming home 470 was back open.

so was out at that address twice, they were there to take him in on a mental health hold when all hell broke loose.
Apparently domestic abuse calls have been used to lure polices, so could be BLM or ANTIFA maybe. The perp is obviously only out for polices, otherwise there would be a lot more dead by now.
I fear incidents like this will one day drive the LEOs to stop supporting 2A and agree to confiscate guns.
How in the hell did you jump to that? Did you see the post above yours? Yes domestic calls were/are some of the most dangerous for responders. I know guys on this call-sorry if I’m coming off harsh but no one needs to be spreading speculation on this horrific morning. I’m out.
Let’s keep this on track and run with details not tin foil Therories

there was a point in the call where one of the downed officers had his mike keyed and dispatch reported they could hear the suspect reloading, then multiple shots rang out, i did not feel comfortable posting that clip. take my word for it its real, it put goosebumps on my arms.
Prayers and condolences to those involved.
Doc45, car-15, hope those you know are safe.
I'm at Littleton Hospital, it's pretty crazy here this morning. Sounds like one officer has died and will be transported from here shortly.
The first thing I saw when I got online this morning was the headline "7 shot, 1 deputy killed in Douglas County, CO."
I'm fairly certain that we have DCSO deputies as members of this board. If any of you know them personally, please reach out to them to verify their safety.
This was a dark and horrendous event. We need to come together as the family community that we are and see if there is anything we can do to help those effected, particularly if any of our members were effected.
In the mean time, I encourage any of you who are spiritual to pray for all involved.
ETA: For those of you who are not LEO-friendly on this board, please note that due to the seriousness and how this has hit so close to home for us that the staff's level of tolerance for any non-supportive posts here will be non-existant and such posts will be met with extreme and swift action.
My condolences to the fallen officer's family and hope for the speedy recovery of those wounded. May the soul of the perp already be roasting in eternal fire.
R.I.P.

Leaving now. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d240d43639.jpg
PS - damn that was emotional.
Hollahas & Car-15: Thank you for the information you're providing.
Frankly, I'm in an emotional shock right now. As many of us here, I knew/know members of DCSO.
[Salute] Golly. RIP Deputy.
Prayers for the officers involved. I know quite a few from traffic control at church. Hoping to see them next week.[Salute]
RIP - Prayers out to all involved. Just awful.
RIP
Prayers for those involved and their families
Wow, I just heard about this.....
There are some things I'll just never understand. What a horrible day.
My feelings exactly. Prayers go out to those folks. I've never had contact with anyone in DCSO that wasn't completely professional. Wouldn't surprise me if most of those officers weren't out of the DCSO substation down the street.
Wife is reading details and they're apparently using the HR Northridge Rec Center to shelter those displaced by the incident.
just going to post this here i have no words,
