Anyone been to the show before? Is it fun? I think my son (5yrs) will go absolutely bonkers. It's Feb 9-11, or thereabouts.
Yes, I understand we'll all need earpro. Planning to double up for the kids.

Yes.
I had a good time as an adult. They used to offer pit passes at the Ford dealer off 6th and Kipling.
Kids LOVE Trucks...take them if for no other reason, they love spending time with you.
Yeah my kiddo loves going!
As an adult it's meh....I think the Pepsi Center is too small with only one pile of dirt to ramp off at different angles.
Kids will dig it. I had coworkers go every year and take their kids when my company had a suite at the Pepsi center.
As previously mentioned, it's kind of lame for the adults due to the limited space. Monster trucks deserve to run free in wide open spaces.
Do not know how looud it might actually get for something like that but I always take foam earplugs to such events.
Lots of fun for the kids, honestly I as an adult would be much more interested in going again if we had a much larger arena. Or outdoors. Pepsi center just isn’t big enough to let those trucks really let loose.
He'll LOVE IT, My Brother and I took my nephew when he was little and he had a blast. I had a good time too.
Just looked to get tickets for the family they are 15$ for cheap seats but after all there BS its 166.50$ for 5 tickets plus parking.
Does any one know can you just show up and get tickets at the window????
Another vote for the venue being way too small for monster trucks. I have been 2 times when my son was younger. The noise they make was more impressive than the stunts or driving due to such limited space. However, kids will love it. It is LOUD. Bring ear pro for sure. !!!
Thanks, guys. We will go for sure based on your recommendations.
I went a few years ago with the kiddos. They LOVED it but I just kept shaking my head the whole time thinking how awesome it could have been if they took it to Mile High in the summer. Pepsi is just way too small for it. It is basically a static display with lots of noise, just not enough room to really get going.
It is WAAAAAY overpriced for what you get, but I highly recommend doing it once. Better bet may be to travel to a show at a larger venue. I think they do them a lot in Houston, Vegas, Detroit, etc.
I saw monster trucks at the Colosseum years ago, bigger venue than Pepsi Center, but not quite large enough. It would be better if Kroenke put it at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. We went last year in FL with my sisters-in-law where the Orlando MLS team plays, it was large enough for a REAL Monster Jam. They just can't get enough out of a small course, IMHO.
In Victor they have a gold mine with 300 ton trucks. The tires are 14 foot tall. When they dump a load of ore, you can hear it for miles away. You have to watch with binoculars. It is free. Lots of nice surrounding forest too!

Tickets purchased. Family of four was $127 for decent seats, second tier.
One tractor trailer rig can haul two tires with wheels. You need a fleet of trucks as it is moved in pieces. The engine drives a huge generator, each wheel has a huge electric motor.
This show is pretty good, but we had a good time at the Monster X tour at Norris Penrose Event Center. The seats are closer so you get a better view. Also, when we went a couple years ago, after the show, you could ride in the back of one of the monster trucks for $20, which was pretty cool.
I figured I'd be flamed. But hey, it is only 30 minutes away.
