I always liked her. Strong but low-keyed. Never sought a lot of attention. I'm guessing George will be joining her soon.

Great lady.
My parents go to the same church as them in Houston. Some of the ladies in the church have been getting together to needlepoint new kneelers for the past couple of years. Mrs. Bush was usually there and my mom said she was just another sweet Grandmother in the group.
She will be missed by a great many.
She was a class act.
It's been a rough week, and it's only Tuesday.
RIP and prayers to the First Lady and her family......
RIP, She was one of a handful truly Classy First Ladies this Country has ever had.

I saw George and Barbara at a University of Michigan graduation. He was a bore. Spent more time counting SS agents. She was interesting.
R.I.P. to a class act. [Salute]
Sad day for sure
An outstanding and upstanding First Lady. She set a standard for First Lady's (of which was certainly not met by the likes of Billary Clinton or Michelle Obama) that will be difficult to attain for future First Lady's.
RIP Barbara and thank you for your contributions to America. [emoji631]

RIP Mrs. Bush, a true Lady in every sense of the word.
RIP, reminds me of my grandmother. Very similar looking ladies.

She was a fine lady, may she R.I.P.

This liberal pile of dehydrated monkey feces took it upon herself to trash a dead woman and belittle her achievements, then the coward made her twitter account private.
It's a shame her parents didn't learn how to use a coat hanger when they had the opportunity to do so.

People on here do that kind of thing all the time, why the outrage?
I seem to recall some negative words in a thread about the death of Billy Graham...for example.

The History Channel ran a documentary/biography of her last night that had been filmed around 2013.
There was a lot more to Mrs. Bush and her marriage to George H W Bush then I knew.
RIP
