Anyone know what is/was happening in old Aurora this afternoon?
I saw at least 3 dozen or so police vehicles scattered about blocking off streets between Dayton and Havana, from 6th Ave south to about 2nd or so, at least.

Don't know. Not joined up with that.
Just looked into it. Not my neighborhood, anyway. Mine stops at 6th. Activity was in Sunnyvale neighborhood.
Nothing on the APD facebook page or twitter feed...
Weird...
I haven't had a TV on, but I did check the the local news sites without success.

Thre are settings on the Nextdoor feed that will allow you access to neighboring community news. I use mine to watch the drama of the Willow Creek community hand-wringers; you could keep an eye on yours to see what police activity there is in soe of your nearby neighborhoods.
Maybe I'll give it try.
Thanks for all the input.
At this point, I think it may have been an arrest warrant for a murder suspect?

Couldn't find a thread on Nd, but I created a post and got a reply that it was a manhunt for 2 armed robbery suspects who, apparently, are still at large.
Great.
Thanks for all the input folks.
Grey, I may be reaching out to you for some navigation tips if I continue to participate on Nextdoor.
