The irony is rich in the proposal.
I've never had police training, so who am I to question the idea that the safest place to store a defense weapon is in a place that puts the shooter between resource officer and said defense weapon.
Nor am I inclined to question why Boulder is so convinced of a school shooting in their schools that they are willing to partially disarm their deputy for ALL other possible law enforcement scenarios.
The title is a bit misleading. I watched this story on the 5 o clock news last night, and they are referring to 2 schools in Boulder county, Niwot and Lyons high schools, due to increased response times in those locations.
City of Boulder and County of Boulder are two different entities.
One is strife with moonbats.
The other has some common sense.
