Thoughts? Converts pmags to 9mm. Pretty slick set up. About $25 per insert so not crazy cheap but in the grand scheme not awful. Kinda nice for people with sbr lowers.

Looks like a good choice for Coloradoans who are obeying the magazine law and have purchased 9mm ARs after the ban.

Yes but the issue is if you didn't purchase mags before the mag ban. It's also nice for your chest rig or belt set up if you have it set for ar15 mags. But you're right if you shoot glocks and have the mags that makes more sense.Quote:

I wondered about the plastic ejector too but after watching this video I decided to order some anyway. It doesn't address long term concerns but it does show the ejectors aren't exactly fragile either.

Necropost, but with an actual update. I found out about these inserts on a different site, and having a spare set of receivers and other parts, ordered a three pack and built up a 9mm this week. Aero upper and lower, 7" Rosco barrel, FM products 9mm Glock bolt and heavy buffer, Law Tactical folder. Took it out to a very windy Great Guns this morning. The mag/AR combo fed 115gr JHP, 147 gr JHP and 115 Winchester steel case without a hiccup.
Good to hear; I've been considering building up a 9mm AR but I don't really want a Glock lower (Mostly because I have a dozen 32 round Uzi mags bought just for this purpose years ago) however I could get a half dozen of these for less than half what I'd pay for the Colt-type lower I've been thinking about. I tried some lightly loaded 147 (3.4 gr VV N320) just to see how it would work. Almost no recoil, cycled fine but dropped the brass just two feet away. I was surprised it cycled, to be frank.
