Thoughts? Converts pmags to 9mm. Pretty slick set up. About $25 per insert so not crazy cheap but in the grand scheme not awful. Kinda nice for people with sbr lowers.

Looks like a good choice for Coloradoans who are obeying the magazine law and have purchased 9mm ARs after the ban.
Pretty good presentation... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWwLduAP8-s
I'm waiting for a review by Sean.
Looks like a pretty cool design and function.
wrong thread. Gah.
ATI offers a 9mm magwell conversion to use glock mags.
I looked at one of those awhile back. The problem with them is that the magazine blocks usually lock into the mag well via the standard AR magazine release, and the block itself has a magazine release similar to the paddle release on an AK.
The problem with this is that if you're used to hitting the traditional magazine release on your AR and you do this while the block is in, you'll dump the magazine and the block on the ground. If you want to keep the same manual of arms on a 9mm conversion as on a regular AR, you're better off going with a dedicated lower or something like this magazine conversion which seems like a really clever idea.
The only thing I can think of that's a downside is that you lose out being able to use specialty magazines, and you're stuck with the PMAG form factor. This isn't really a big deal, though, especially if weighted against the disadvantages of a mag well block or the cost of a dedicated lower.
Tried the AR to 9mm mag conversions. The Torkmag works okay once you get it tuned, the others I would never rely on.
But the endomag looks pretty cool. If it works as advertised, WINNING!
Figured I would update. I received mine the other day but haven't shot them. They seem very well made and are slip right in, but I'm concerned the plastic ejector will be a problem long term.
I got the same removal notice.
Check this out with metal ejector.

Here's a link to save the next person from having to Google what the heck people are talking about.

Especially necessary with the removal of the youtube video - that woild have probably given more information about the product.
O2
I wondered about the plastic ejector too but after watching this video I decided to order some anyway. It doesn't address long term concerns but it does show the ejectors aren't exactly fragile either.
This guy has a potty mouth so be careful of where you play it.

I placed the order Oct. 31 at 4:40pm and tracking says it will be here Monday, Nov. 5.
Necropost, but with an actual update. I found out about these inserts on a different site, and having a spare set of receivers and other parts, ordered a three pack and built up a 9mm this week. Aero upper and lower, 7" Rosco barrel, FM products 9mm Glock bolt and heavy buffer, Law Tactical folder. Took it out to a very windy Great Guns this morning. The mag/AR combo fed 115gr JHP, 147 gr JHP and 115 Winchester steel case without a hiccup.
Good to hear; I've been considering building up a 9mm AR but I don't really want a Glock lower (Mostly because I have a dozen 32 round Uzi mags bought just for this purpose years ago) however I could get a half dozen of these for less than half what I'd pay for the Colt-type lower I've been thinking about. Thanks for the update.
More update. Got out to the range yesterday to shoot more than the few rounds I fired the first time in the high winds. My AR-9 tossed factory Winchester 147 brass about 6 feet plus at 3 o'clock. I tried some lightly loaded 147 (3.4 gr VV N320) just to see how it would work. Almost no recoil, cycled fine but dropped the brass just two feet away. I was surprised it cycled, to be frank.
