And by the way, for the "gun safety" blather we hear so often; the right to bear arms number one reason for me goes beyond self-defense, hunting, recreational shooting, gun collecting or my usage in the military, although important.
It is called common defense as a militiamen and to curtail and stand ready to confront a "tyrannical government" and foreign adversaries. The oath of office did not cease upon my retirement. It stands until my last breath.[emoji631]

Whoever compiled statistic s has no way to know 30% of households have a gun. I believe it to be a much higher percentage.

As an aside, there is a lot of news coming from UK and Australia about illegal gun "factories." Usually what we would call "hillbilly innovation." This plus smuggling = their governments have no idea how many guns are in those countries.
