Almost went last year. Sounded like something fun and different.
Let us know what you think if you make it out.
We have gone the last two years. Fun to watch the boat races. Otherwise it is a mini Renaissance fair with varying degrees of bad cosplay.
Because you will hear it there...Arrrrrrrr!
Have fun.
Avast! I've ne'er been t' th' festival but Wednesday be "International Talk Like a Pirate Day!" 'tis also a High Holy Day fer th' followers o' th' Flyin' Spaghetti Monster! Yo ho ho!
I should have gone after all I'm named after a pirate. Instead I mowed and processed more pine scraps instead.
Arrrr it is said that when a pirate dies at sea he goes to my place.
So maybe not a pirate but associated with pirate lore
Well...that was interesting. The 4yr old had a great time, some decent refreshments and yes, it was very much like a mini-Renaissance Festival (which I haven’t been to in many years). And I thought the folks at gunshows smelled bad-hoowee!
The best part, besides leaving, was riding the bike up-at least once I hit the express lane on I-25. Actually the best part was that my son didn’t have to render aid to anyone, not a bad way to pick up some ot pay. Better than the people he’s dealt with at the First Bank Center lol.
Does anyone here know which letter of the alphabet is favored the most by pirates?
He was quite the heart throb back in the day. Not as good looking as our Davy but who is?
