Over 10 rd mag ban, no grandfathering?
AW ban?
Roll back of the CCW program?
Mandatory storage?
Roll back of supposed pre-emption?
I bet the next Tanner will be a bit more crowded...

They plan to demand a wheat crop after they failed to supply the necessary seeds (which they confiscated as property of the state).

Democracy is mob rule. Unfortunately the transplants have taken over. Voting means consent and submission to the whatever the state does and it is like pulling teeth for me to do so. But at least I got my I voted sticker[emoji2957]Attachment 76531
I do not think they will go for a 10 round, nor the CCW law until after 2020. What I think we will see in the next two years is social policies and spending on welfare policies. We will likely also see a Red Flag law. Pre-emption, probably sniff that out too. They don't want to kick a nest of hornets, and there are plenty. 2021 will be the AWB, mandatory storage.
Add ban on internet ammo sales to their list.
I envision a fee to use the gas pump.
I could see them impose a $2 (pick a number) fee for the privilege of fueling your vehicle, we'll lift the handle, $2 appears in the screen before you've pumped a single drop of gas. Same idea for natural gas usage at your domicile.
Dickenpooper raised the fees on vehicle registration, they'll visit this again.
TABOR will be a top priority.
Look at Washington's anti-gunowner initiative that passed. It is ugly! It mandates all kinds of training including suicide prevention, mandatory inspections of safe storage by law enforcement, and forfeiture of HIPAA privacy. It is really bad, and sets up people for confiscation of their firearms. I see this as the next thing we'll face in Colorado.
Gun owners need to organized before the session starts and target three vulnerable Senators with a threat of recall if they vote or champion any anti-gunowner legislation. I plan to write Neville's replacement (my senator) first day of session letting that person know what will happen. Two senators were recalled and one forced to resign so these threats now hold a lot of weight. We just need to get busy before it happens and not wait until we get screwed.
Yeah, guns will be a target, but secondarily. Repealing TABOR will be their first priority, so they can push forsocialistsingle payer medical, expanded services for LGBTillegal aliensundocumented immigrants, and more drug decriminalization. Once they attract a super majority of leftists to the state, they can steamroll our gun rights with little or no effort.
After this year, I can no longer afford healthcare for me, so joke's on them!

The gun fight was coming no matter what and, honestly, will never end unless really bad things happen in this country. Disarmament is baked into the Left's playbook. When they say stupid shit like "Socialism/Communism just wasn't done correctly" in history they are articulating they need complete control to make it "work."
I started a thread some time ago advising people to diversify looking at the worst possible outcomes while attempting to maintain the ability to project force.
TheParty won't tolerate power remaining with the people.
The interesting thing about the election results last night is that CO Libs voted against any increase in cost of living (no on 112, no on 73, etc) but voted for the candidates most likely to increase cost of living, increase the "wealth gap," and make the Denver metro look like other blue shitties in spite of all the negative things we see in Denver (and talk about on this board).
If there's hope to swing things back, I think it lies in brutal economic consequences. But to get there we have to endure all those negative consequences with a high probability we won't be able to undo (e.g. ACA).
Bgc and additional tax to purchase ammo and related supplies. Welcome to New California, check your weapons and bank accounts at the door.
One of the libs here just said that taxes would NOT go up. I told them we'll revisit that in 4 years, they said OK and that I'll still be wrong.
This is exactly what they hope to do. It's how they have so effectively ruined california, and despite the desire to think so, they aren't stupid.
By gaining a super majority, they have been able to force through laws that have made breaking their super majority an impossibility. They can literally do whatever they want, and the left will just go along with it.
I am sure no one will bet me even a dime...this will be introduced again right up front...https://www.coloradoindependent.com/...senate-killed/
Red Flag law will likely be the only gun specific law, they will wait until after 2020 for more.
Tabor will be the top priority.
Why wait for 2020?
I think gun control items will come much quicker. Expect January to be introduced.
TABOR is much harder for them. It needs a vote by the people. It is in the Colorado Constitution and can only be changed by a vote of the people.
And last year, at least REPs were smart. We upped the threshold to amend the constitution to require 55% of the vote and to get on the ballot a certain amount of signature from each county. That really screwed DEMs wanting to get rid of TABOR.
Now, the list of fees that they may try and come up with will be mind boggling. I mean I can comprehend 3x10^8 but the number of fees DEMs can come up with will far exceed that.
The funny part is the DEMs think they have a mandate for single payer and free everything. But they have to ask the people for the taxes. Oh I love TABOR.
In general, I think people understand that TABOR is the only thing that saves them from taxes. Look at how many taxes failed this year.
I think they will wait until after 2020 because gun control issues tend to make them lose votes and they want votes for the next presidential election. Anyone else notice that many of the D candidates were promising gun control early on but it quickly went away.
I am not sure that is true in CO anymore.
There were plenty of "anytown" ads on TV and that didnt scare voters off.
In fact the only ad I saw in the Neville race were against Neville and his support by NRA.
It is a sad day when the LBGTQWREOJMSPOHSA is out and gun owners are put in the closet.
Maybe we just all need to cross dress, talk about our sexuality, and carry guns so we are accepted? In some level of seriousness, maybe the in-your -face approach the gay community used is the way to go. You know police dont want to confront 1000 armed protesters complaining about gun laws.
Look at Washington's 1639 gun control that passed with a 20% margin... that will be what they will model- unless it is successfully challenged in the courts.

"brought to you by Microsoft" since 2 of the biggest 3 donors are Ballmer and Paul Allen's estate.
Now that I see that Tom Sullivan won a seat in the House I take back my previous statements. I am sure he will introduce every type of gun control legislation possible.
They're not going to waste anytime in pushing their agenda through. 2013 and 2014 are reminders of that. However, I predict that 2019 is going to be the hardest left session in Colorado political history, unfortunately.
When it comes to guns:
Colorado State Gun Owner's Card that needs to be renewed every 5 years (with a hefty price tag) in order to buy a gun
10 day or longer waiting period to pick up your new gun and will also apply to private party transfers, including C&R and BB guns
No out of state internet ammo purchasing
all ammo sales will be recorded with a background check and a 5 day waiting period
Ban on semiautomatic "Military Grade" heavy weapons with no provision to sell or transfer them
Close the Firearms Trust loophole
Ban all NFA classified items and no provision to sell or transfer them
Detachable Magazine capacity will be reduced to 10 rounds.
CCW laws will be re-written and will require more hours by state certified instructors in the class and range shooting, will be required to re-certify every two years and perhaps issuance will be removed from the county sheriffs in favor of the state issuing all permits. Fees will go through the roof.
In the end, one way or another we will get the short shitty end of the stick.
