Man, that looks good. Might be worth the 100 mile drive to Coeur d'Alene to see it.
Already have my tickets. :)
Me
Wow... I'd be up for that, and had better start looking into it if it's a one day run. I do detest theaters though.
I’m in. Old footage demonstrating how grunts act like grunts, regardless of the era or the country, always strikes a chord with me.
It was available for streaming for free over in UK, and as a result, I've seen it available for download (in HD) in several places.
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast on WWI is great. It's about 24 hours of listening.
Got my tickets! Wife even wanted to come.
I want to see this but will wait until it hits netflix or some other venue where I can see it at home.
Saw the trailer last night on you tube. Looking forward to seeing it.
I'm not saying I have a copy of it or anything...
Are you saying it's good?
I've got my tickets. Looking forward to seeing it on Monday.
Bought some tickets to take my father-in-law (an aging Vietnam vet) to the show tomorrow. Looking forward to it for multiple reasons.
It's really good and very intense in some places.
Awesome! I use Make MKV for digitizing my DVD collection and serve it from a Network Attached Storage server at home using Plex, and Kodi on Raspberry PI's and Amazon TV's, do you have a similar setup? It is so much better not having to flip through DVD's and BluRays to find a movie I want to watch!
That was worth watching. The 20 or so minutes after the credits were at least as interesting as the movie itself (to me).
Look forward to seeing it.
Saw it yesterday in the theater with some friends. Wasn't as blown away as I'd hope with the hype, but damned if it wasn't an amazing technical achievement. I'd very much recommend checking it out if you have a chance.
Frankly, I really wish Jackson would have chosen this topic to build into a huge, multi-hour trilogy instead of The Hobbit.
