It drives me crazy when people use their cell phone as a flashlight. I don't have a good reason for it, but it still bugs me.
I do it daily at work out of convenience, along with using the camera to enlarge small equipment serial numbers with the camera so I can read them. I will agree it is stupid to use the flashlight function on an iPad.Quote:

Let's be honest. What really bothers me, is having less than 50% charge on a cell phone. So when I see people using the flash for sustained periods of time, it makes me cringe. Just a personal pet peeve that does not deserve any real merit.
Plus, if you don't have an actual flashlight, of course you're going to use your phone. Why wouldn't you?
Interesting point, I do have an actual flashlight in the console of my vehicle....but I just choose? to use the one on my phone? I dunno.

Everybody is on their damn phone for everything nowadays. Great technology, but it's kinda sad in a few other ways.
