So, if you're given the choice between tearing your rotator cuff and bicep tendon or not tearing them, I'd go with the "not tearing" option.
This is 1 week post op. I hope the inside looks better than the outside.

Oof, take it easy man.
I don't know how the pic got so screwed up...
I can't seem to delete the large one.
Yikes!
Rest up and hope you feel better.
Geeze. Maybe you should sell propane from a desk for a few months while you recover.
Eek. Should have warned me there would be gory pictures.
Get well soon.
The outline of your bruise looks like sasquatch. Eek
Take care & get well.
Yesterday I started to develop a 3" diameter bruise right over my sternum. ??? Doc says it's just a little blood pooling from laying on my side...nothing to worry about. Yeah...nothing to worry about because he doesn't have a bruise forming on his chest.
Here's best wishes for a speedy recovery !!
Yikes. The bicep tendon rupture, I have done . . . but mine was distal. Becoming left handed overnight for a few months was an experience I don't recommend to others.
Hope you recover quickly and fully!
That looks like it hurts more than my total knee replacement 1week post OP. Yikes.
That looks like a really cool outer space nebula tattoo.
Yeah, internal bleeding that leads to bruising...and it travels. Broke my ankles and my toes turned black. Doc said that the blood tends to follow gravity.
Had a bad SLAP tear and 30% bicep tendon tear. Good times. I found the best solution was ice. I bought a cryotherapy unit from Amazon and it was a lifesaver. Keeps the pain levels and swelling down.
Hang in there. It gets better pretty quickly. Don't overdo it and have fun in PT. [Weight]
And all this time i heard you'd go blind. Looks like another myth, BUSTED!
Ouch! Damn.
Looks like you got kicked by a mule. Hope you kicked back. Take it easy and heal.
Heal up and fast recovery !!!
Big oof. Get better man.
Oh, wow! I hope you heal quickly.
Best outcome to your healing, Sir.
Nothing fun about it for sure.
Good Lord. Quit breaking yourself would ya! Get well soon and take care!
