How do you plan to deal with a down hill, or side hill shot?
Unlike. Normal bipod, the setup I?m using has infinite adjustability.
Downhill- widen posts and stand taller
Uphill- elevate posts and RPP or kneel
Side slope- bring one post slightly in front of the other and widen.
It?s completely intuitive- you just move the posts where they need to be, pull tension in the system, and sit your hips back into the tether to load it.
It?s easier for me to make hits off this system than with a bipod or from a bench, and it is much easier (for me) to shoot with these than a bipod in an actual wooded environment when elevated above the deadfall between myself and a target.

I was thinking about something similar for antelope to get above the grass. I tried a single post with a cradle on the top, but that thing was so flimsy I was almost better shooting off hand.
I like the idea a lot. Unfortunately the way I have to adjust my pack for my height, the hard plastic of the internal frame hits me in the back of the head when I lay prone, or bend forward as far as you have in the video. Glad I found that out before I had to shoot at a live animal.
Yeah- I had to adjust the main stay in my packs internal frame. Most dedicated hunting packs have nothing above the shoulder. I suspect for a similar reason.

You'd think Mystery Ranch would be better, but I think it's just because I have a long torso.
Anyway, it looks like you have a wrist loop on your dominate hand, and that's what you use to hold the handles together? I really like how the tether is used to lean the poles forward. How long do you think you worked on this to get something useable?
The first iteration was a little rough around the edges but only took about an hour to throw together. I?ve refined this over 5 years now. I may commercialize some of it here soon.

Any issues with brush/small trees catching on it?
I?ve forgotten to trim or tape the excess tether to the pole. That only happened once. Lol. Since policing that, no issues in 2 years
As for the gun, it is so much LESS hassle to have it ride up front. No more sling snags, shoulder slips, and low branch catches.
