At least there wasn?t anyone Inside
Ouch I bet the clean up will be expensive
Hopefully just an accident and not something more sinister. With the vitriol against the shooting community, who knows.
Sorry to hear the bad news.
...fuck...
Timing is interesting at 4am. Would not be surprised if it was a burglary and cover up. If I remember correctly the store is on top of the range? I assume store caved in during the fire.
Did my first CCW class there back around 2000. The bullet holes in the ceiling and at the rear of the firing lines were a bit unnerving. Sorry to hear that this family business is having to deal with this.
Fox News reported that it was "unconfirmed" that it was an electrical fire.
I did my CCW class there. Sorry to see the fire and I hope they had adequate insurance to rebuild.
Looks like Robert Francis is really starved for attention these days.
I don't get the reference to RFO either...

If that's the joke, it's pretty obtuse in this situation. Just sayin'.
The joke is that he's been attempting to raise his flagging poll numbers by increasingly ratcheting up his rhetoric with regard to gun control, with the eventual outcome that he's finally snapped and resorted to arson in order to get attention for his failing presidential bid.
Yeah, I guess in my head the progression was a lot funnier and straightforward than it actually turned out to be...
Is a gun store required to keep ammo in any special way in case of a fire? I watched a long video about firefighters and ammunition. Turn out it's not too dangerous but a lot of departments won't go near the fire if the rounds are popping off.
The video was very interesting. One fireman in his gear went right up close to the fire, close enough the use the hose. He said he could feel the bullets hitting him but without being squeezed down a barrel, they don't have much power behind them.
I'd be more concerned if they also sold bulk black powder.
Sorry to hear this. I’ve shot a lot there, and the new owners have done a bit to make it feel nicer.
I sure don’t miss how gross the air was in there back in the day. Blowing your nose and it was just black.
Good video on the subject

Sweet video, but it brings tears to see all that ammo being destroyed.....

Had a neighbor's house burn down. He liked his firearms.
The first VFD truck arrived 5 minutes before I did. Spent the afternoon running hoses and dodging .45acp casings. Fun times.
I can't imaging a store full of ammo going up.
