Lol, I guess you have no concept of what lot techs do to vehicles after hours??
Bummer! I've wondered how hard the claim would be if the mechanic wrecked my vehicle while test driving it after work. I'm assuming most big shops (Firestone, the FORD Dealer, etc) have plenty of insurance to manage the situation.
Yep, they have your insurance, because that's where the claim would go.
I'm always wondering how many miles they've shaved off of the maintenance life even when they "look" OK. When you're making the payments, you won't be popping a clutch and doing burnouts. But your mechanic's 19yo "helper" has no qualms about that...
Good example why "shared rides" are also not a good concept, esp for any kind of performance vehicle. Imagine buying a used corvette from a rental pool. FULL NOPE.
Darwin was on vacation that day........
Do folks remember what happened to the Maserati salesman down here in Highlands Ranch?
Denver-area Maserati salesman, 24, killed driving one at "reckless speeds" after posting video

"Buying a used rental car is kinda like going to a house of ill-repute looking for a wife..."
People don't kill... Maserati's kill people.
When I rent something like a car I always treat it like my own. Yeah...dont buy a rental car.
And as if the 707hp Hellcat engines weren't enough, now there's what - the 7OMG hp engines now?
1,000HP+ seems to be the new number.
ETA: I remember Hennessey came out with The Exorcist at 1,000HP to compete with the Demon, but just checked their site and found out that wasn't enough. Now they have The Resurrection at 1,200HP.

The problem with those high HP cars is putting the power down and traction issues....

And here I was, thinking of bolting on some Vortec heads for an additional 40hp.......
"Mustang"
There I found the problem.
