Make sure that you pick up your .22 ammo.
Absolutely nuts!! Just ran into the same thing. This is fucking stupid.
Lol that is retarded. Don’t people plan ahead?
Maybe it’s in part due to less federal workers in their end right now?
Was getting two Lowers and was told the same thing.
Probably go back tomorrow.
I?m sure it?s an increase in the amount of purchases as well as having less staff. Gun sales were already going up - think they set a record in JAN
Does everyone know something that we don't? As dumb as this seems, the TP hoarders take the cake on stupid.Quote:

I'd been procrastinating on an order from PSA. I can't wait to see how long that takes to ship.
I think it got up to 21 hours at one point earlier today. I stopped by walmart supermarket to pickup some stuff, shelves getting emptied.
Bass Pro was wiped of ammo too.
Cabela's out of ammo 18-24 hour cbi and almost sold out of firearms. As per an employee in termykf firearm stock an waiting.
It's 911 and Obama's second election all over again. Yesterday was certainly the wrong day buy a gun or look for ammo. Today apparently worse. The stores are innundated and common ammunition is sold out. I didn't expect to see a rush like this until September.
I ordered a gun last week and went to pick it up Friday morning. Waited an hour and a half just to begin the process and the CBI background check took another 4 hours.
Cabela's Thornton told me they had put out 50,000 rounds of 9mm Thursday morning and it was all gone by early evening.
Last evening I bought the last box of 9mm at the Longmont Murdoch's. Glad I've got about 4K of 9mm, but wish I had some to sell.
Just wait until October when the media is cheering for Joe and Hillary.
CBI wait times? Cash n carry down here.
However i got to SW @ 9:10 friday morning. They are having a 3 day sale on firearms & ammo, advertised a week ago.
They were handing out numbers as the amount of people at the counter had grown to 50+ I thought something was up as i've never seen that SW parking lot that full. At the most it's maybe 1/2 doz cars at any time.
I know on line reloading components are sparse, if not OOS.
The people buying guns today are people without any or maybe just an unsuitable ones. They are in essence new recruits and new resistants to gun control in the future.
Maybe they need all the guns to protect their toilet paper hoards.
My neighbor told me she added 20k to her portfolio last week. I wish she would have had the insight to buy twenty grand worth of toilet paper. Set up a road side stand and make 300%. You know panicky idiots would pay $18 bucks per roll.
I was in Cabela's this morning at 11AM and saw a gun in the used guns I wanted. They told me it was 17 hours on BGC, I said not an issue I would pick it up Monday. They called me at 5:05PM to tell me I could pick it up. I think it's a ploy to get people to put the guns down and walk away. And since I was there, I picked up a 1000 rds of .22 just in case I need to barter for TP in 6 months when I run out.
Some for sure, but not many from what I saw yesterday. Given the extended wait time I talked with a number of people who went to buy guns and everyone had some firearms but wanted other options. The many buyers I met may not have our experience but they are headed there.
I met a Vietnamese immigrant, a hobbyist shooter who wanted another pistol. She ended up buying two for home and business.
CBI says 2426 in the que this morning. 18.5 hour wait.
Just got the call I was approved. God how does my buddy in CA wait 10 days! Hahahaha
Just got a text from my FFL on a item I had shipped to him (M17 Surplus), he told me 2603 in queue. Good gravy!
I was at Franktown Firearms yesterday around 4:00 pm. There were over 4,000 people in the queue with CBI at that time. 18 hour estimated wait. Let the panic begin....
Sportsman’s Warehouse was picked clean. All popular calibers and the dehydrated foods were all gone.
Got my lowers and was told I was lucky for getting them in yesterday. Crazy wait times now.
Enjoy the panic folks!
Good luck fellow Americans.
Last time I remember long waits was 2008 IIRC. Was leaving to go back on the road for work and popped into Jensens to grab a OD G19 but couldn't due to wait.
I went to cabelas to buy some 338lapua ammo. They only had PPU.
Had to go to the Target on Arapahoe yesterday because it was apparently the only Target in the world with the dress my wife wanted for her birthday, and they wouldn't ship it or hold it. Anyways, while I was down there, I figured I'd stop by Centennial and fiddle with the Korth I want. Walked in, walked right back out. Shelves were empty, place was packed. Haven't seen anything like it since right after Sandy Hook. Made me very happy I have everything I need in life, and the patience to forgo some of the things I want.
I'm hoping this is just a temporary bump in prices and not the start of a trend. I see alot of dry fire training in my future.
Glad I bought my lower a week ago. BGC were about an hour. Just happened to be right around the time that this whole fiasco was starting. Just got lucky. Hopefully in a couple of weeks everything will be back to normal.

Interesting times, rather it's overblown or the real thing, certainly something we will remember for a while.
When I Left work at ~7pm, queue was ~3200 and CBI was claiming 1 day, 2 hours. We had a guy that we submitted at 2pm yesterday that hadn't cleared yet, so in reality it's over 1 day, 6 hours.
O2
This is nuts!! I have an out of state purchase incoming hopefully by mid-week. Hope I can pick it up by the weekend to go shoot!!
I went through the BGC process Saturday, was told over 1900 in the que, would most likely have to come back on Sunday.
I received the call to come back in 4 hours later .
A friend of mine bought his first handgun on Saturday AM and didn't receive a call to pick it up till this morning. I am sure with the extended BGC times plus the influx of customers, it was delayed all over. I would guess CBI has brought in extra help to bring these numbers back down.
