Government overreach,
Fake news,
etc.

I work commercial construction, buildings/projects have deadlines. These projects have been in development for years and are fully funded, so I don?t see any issues with the developer/funding side. So far I?m still working as if nothing has happened, one project should final at the end of May, the other project finals mid July. Next big project broke ground and my work should start late summer and the other next large project should break ground in may. We will see how long that lasts.
Government is mandating that companies of xyz size, cease operations.
Which is silly because companies, are what make America work.
Not Government.
-John
Let's tell them, let's tell Government, that THEY can't work.
THEY can't waste our money.
THEY can't fake news.
-John
(They) Government are the problem.
-John
Looks like I get an additional 90 days to pay the government the rest of the money I owe them for taxes from last year.
And maybe Trump will be writing me a check for $1K soon. (Which I?ll put towards those taxes I owe that are now due around mid July)
Everything about this is a serious infraction of what Government is supposed to be.
Government is supposed to be the rock, of what shall and shall not be.
But instead today, it flows like the wind.
This is unconstitutional and we should all stand up and say NO!
-John
CDOT is tracking construction projects. So far only a few workers or subcontractors have not shown up due to the wuhan virus.
Over protective managers are having inspectors watch from vehicles for the south I25 GAPP project... so in a few years I suspect a higher than average defect rate on that stretch.
Some consultants have been replaced since they wont send personal out to interact with others on projects.
My office is nearly vacant with everyone working from home. I cant (wont) work at home if anything needs done. Too many distractions. But those working remotely are having bandwidth issues with the VPN.
We have all meetings via google hangouts, even with folks 2 offices down.
This is probably as good a place as any to field conspiracy theories...

Anyone who's paid attention has seen ties between UN agenda 21 and the Gates Foundation...
What of this timing, and rumors that his recent "charity work" has been in China?
How do we tell Government they don't have the right to close business?
-John
Government at every level is shutting down, all buildings closed and off limits. The city, county, state and federal sectors closed to public interaction. Law enforcement by internet, trials by remote conference, prosecutorial actions pled or postponed. Jails are being emptied.
Take a vacation, work at home in your pajamas, go fishing, make the best of it. Isolation and social distancing is the mandate. Even health care providers are shut down. Everyone except grocery store workers of course, for now. Just keep laughing about the TP hoarders, until you run out.
Whoever or whatever is to blame and no matter what transpires, if you haven't prepared for long term independent survival you're in deep trouble with scant options left.
Take solace if you can because we are nowhere close to the desperate level of survival and imminent extinction that our native wildlife populations are experiencing.
The mayor of Tucson has decided to close restaurants and bars/breweries through the month of March, as of 8pm tonight. We went to a local brewery earlier, and apparently (according to our server), one of the founders was on the phone with his attorney's all afternoon trying to figure out a work around. Apparently it's a misdemeanor to disobey the order, and he was contemplating giving the mayor a middle finger. I'll be going back.

Bill Whittle interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...ature=emb_logo
I watched that episode earlier. I think that's the most pissed off I've ever seen Bill.
It's interesting to see democrats lay all this at trumps feet. From the administration asian racism, regarding it a Chinese flu. The HOW DARE TRUMP try and Close the Borders. Using the same tired racist, xenophobic shit they've done since 11/16. YET they applaud Italy and spain for isolating them self..
I'm convinced the d's are so blinded by hatred, they actually believe the shit they're spewing? And is the public, in general buying it?
Is Bill Whittle ever wrong? About anything?
Oil is in a free fall due to all this mess and the Saudi/Russia pissing match. Getting ready to buy
IMO, this is all a carefully planned and executed plot to use this new disease against Trump. Remember the H1N1 Swine Flu 10 years ago when Obummer was Pres? Read up on that, and how many people in the US were sickened by it, and how many thousands died. Then look at the numbers worldwide!
This coronabullshit ain't nothing compared to that, and there wasn't a global media frenzy, or mass closings of ANYTHING! And ya know what? That disease is still out there, so's AIDS, SARS, bird flu, EBOLA, MERS, measles, smallpox, and every other disease that was supposed to wipe us all out. Under control, sure, but they all still exist, and people still catch them.....
My only disagreement is the "carefully planned and executed" part ... this is opportunists sociopaths taking advantage of a crisis. But yeah, the overall panic, FUD and crisis-talk is clearly being weaponized specifically against Trump (and against civic-nationalist movements, BREXIT, anti-globalists and anyone to the right of Noam Chomsky around the world).
Thing is I don't think its working. I think open borders, socialized medicine and big government in general are actually being questioned in this crisis more than longed for.
When they're actively and repeatedly trying to pin Trump as being "racist" by calling it the "China Virus" in the daily briefing, it's pretty apparent what they're trying to do.
I would love to see a ban on imported medicine from China & others over the next 5 years. Bring all drug manufacturing back to the US so we can not be held hostage for medicine in the future. It may cost more, but it would be made here.
Same for all military equipment & supplies.
If it's vital to our protection and functioning as a society if we're isolated, we need capacity here to do it. The end.
Well let's see here...no Russian collusion (Whatever that means) the impeachment didn't turn out as planned, the scotus is about due for another appointment and on and on.
It all smacks of a psychological operation to drive fear, hysteria, and disorder. The blue cities and states are slowly locking up into martial law where they can hold their societies hostage.
Wouldn't be surprised if it were a deep state operation to spread a bioweapon on the deplorables in order to manufacture a crisis seeing that all their other attempts have failed and their time is running low as we near an election cycle.

What else could it be, but an attack by the News Media and Deep State on Donald Trump?
We've faced similar viruses before, but only now are they debilitating, and emergencies.

I've learned one thing from the health care industry... you have Acute Attacks or you have Chronic Attacks.
Let's call this an Acute Attack, well if so, it's not so bad.
Last I heard there were 100+ dead.
-John
For the world to be going crazy, over 100+ dead (in America) is just crazy.
Millennials, Communists, Socialists, Progressive, Liberals, all need to wonder how crazy they are.
-John
Just out of curiosity, what's your personal threshold for when you would consider this as bad?
Rats in my apartment... would be bad.
-John
I was asking how many deaths it would take for you to consider it to be "not that bad." To be honest, I've already lost interest in the answer.
