Apparently its a thing @ 2000 each night.
[hahhah-no]
Nope. Was wondering why people sounded crazy outside...
Hell no.
People in Italy and Spain sing opera from building to building and that's the best we can come up with???
They started across the street tonight.
I replied with the loudest, juiciest fart I have given birth to in several months...It actually shut them up for a good 20 secs! [Coffee]
Full moon perhaps?
Only thing howling up here are the yotes.
It's for solidarity for medical workers. I like it. I think we should do more things like that.
I'm going to start one where everyone who is against pedophilia can show what side they're on by using their turn signals in traffic and turning on their headlights during inclement weather.
That's what that's about? Thought the redhead across the road was doing another pornhub video.
I occasionally howl but only to get the princess riled up or answer the coyotes. Probably not the same as howl as med supporters.
This doesn't bother me one bit. Rituals are good for people, this is a good way for many to get their stress out, and build some solidarity with the neighbors. I rate this as a good thing in my book.
I misread the title of the thread. I thought it said bowling...
Would be nice to have the lanes all to myself though.
I thought it was about "coyote style"...
Where you sit by the hole and howl
Uh....I'm not sure they can hear me at the hospital from here.
Can't I just change my Facebook Cover Photo to a Red Cross? I think I'd be contributing more that way.
Soap and water will cure that issue.

Someone's been watching too much Alaskan Bush People.
Since this has something to do with the medical profession, maybe they need their own ?line?.
The blue line shows support for law enforcement.
The red line shows support for firefighters.
Maybe doctors and nurses need a white line?
Of course that could be twisted into some sort of racist thing I suppose. Or maybe something to do with cocaine.
We sit out on our porch nightly and listen to it. Helps perk the girlfriend up since she's in the medical industry.
Green line...with peaks and valleys. Cuz flat isn't good.
I shouted "Stop this madness and let us all go back to work!" Nothing against doctors and nurses, they are always needed and appreciated, but I'm not cheering for the one industry the government is allowing to continue to work, when the rest of us are losing our jobs and businesses.
Are we Fenrisians now?
Well that solves a bizarre mystery when I was taking my trash out Wednesday night.
Ain't gonna catch me howling.....
Yeah. We've gone so insane, we're now howling like DOGS. SMH.
flashback to yesteryear

Now that I know what it was, I just let the dog bark back at them. Our rule is 'no bark after dark' for the sake of our neighbors, but if they're asking for it, they can deal with it.
I'm also hearing fireworks in the neighborhood at 8pm.
...at least I hope they're fireworks. [AR15]
No different than when libs screamed at the sky to mark the first anniversary of Trump's election.
BTW, do you see or hear any males howling?
Maybe it's some big conspiracy like all women of the world are synchronizing their menstrual cycles
My wife, a Nurse, first told me of this and commented how stupid it was.
After looking into it and telling her what it was for, she said, "Still stupid."
To me, it's partly just more virtue signalling with little substance. Just another stupid tide pod challenge.
However, if people need to do something to make them feel better and show appreciation, go for it. Don't expect everyone to join in, and don't assume that nonconformists are not appreciative.
Yep, slacktivism.
I live near enough to a hospital & its quite the event.
Ive 10+ kiddos that live on my block that are enjoying the novelty for a minute or two & that's fine, fun even & I'm glad folks are trying to keep their spirits up however... I suspect the hipsters with the horn doing it for 20+ minutes each night wouldn't like my noisemaker.
If only...
FWIW, while also somewhat virtue signalling but with a tangible benefit, wife is much more appreciative of any business that lets first responders and health care workers jump the line (Costco) or offers real goods. They're getting one meal per day at the hospital.
"They were blanks, officer. I'm supporting the medical community!"
Im just jesting of course. I'd never.
But it sure would be funny to see everyone not used to it, jump out of their skin at the kaboom.
My kiddos love it and look forward to it every night.
If it's an excuse for my son to scream outside the house, I suppose I am all for it.
