Being that we seem to live in the hail capital of the world.
Anyone have experience with PDR?
Is it affordable or something that requires an insurance claim?
I have 100+ dime sized dents on the hood and roof of my truck , from today's little storm.

My last hail damage claim was about $8K. Can?t remember how many dents I had though.
Either let the insurance cover it or just drive it with dents.
I think it?s roughly $45-$50 a dent if you are going to pay for it yourself.
I dunno about PDR, but these guys did my last insurance claim for hail and are also recommended by a friend in the insurance biz :)

Good to know guys, thanks.
Will talk with my agent on Monday , house got hammered too
I read this as “pantsless”.
Turns out I have no input. Good luck, guys!
If there are that many in the hood, replace it.
You have to be careful with PDR, hacks have been known to virtually destroy a car from cutting away supporting structure to push out dents.
Somebody who is truly good at it is an artist and can work magic.
Do your homework.

Save your money and gas..maybe
I can say do not go to "The dig guy" in the springs. First time was great, second time they fucked my G8 7 ways to sunday and basically said so what, we already got the $$$$.
I guess I get to try this now. We just had a hail storm, two vehicles and two sky lights. I will have to wait and check the roof later, it is propanel. Two other vehicles were under the carports, one other was out, but it is tougher than these new trucks. What really sucks is O was trading one that got hail damage in later this week.
Good time to cover up the skylights. They leak, add solar heat and Hoser watches us.
Three skylight now. Lol. We love the natural light they give. I may change them to solar tube to keep some of the light. I am seeing some dents, but it is still pretty wet.
Find a Car Medic. They are essentially individual franchisees with super high corporate standards. They train for a couple of months before they are even turned loose. Even then, the juniors work with their partners until they can handle their own territory. My brother runs a territory in Charlotte and some of the dents he pushes are crazy. Retail hail damage is not cheap either.
