I gave up on these clowns a few years back for obvious reasons, I used to be a huge follower. Not anymore.
Anyway, I'm guessing that more than a few team names will be changed as the owners (OWNERS will also be changed) cower and succumb to the lunatic left agenda. Too sad.
I'd like to start with a suggestion for the new Washington Redskins name, The Washington Kneelers.
This could spawn off another thread on renaming certain Colorado landmarks, per Gov. Polis's geographic name change crap.
Should the Yankees change their name too?
The solution is simple, eliminate team names altogether. Just refer to the teams by their cities (of course half of those will have to change) ... and then anyone that considers themselves a patriot should find some other past time.
I have zero use for any professional sports. None. If every single league folded tomorrow it wouldn't bother me one bit.

If I was an owner of a sports franchise that had a "controversial" name/nickname I would fold it before being a bitch and cowtowing to a bunch of Marxist, PC "Karens" and change the name.
They generally don't have that option. They are after all still franchises and as such the owners are beholden to corporate policy. So if you wanted to fold your team you'd be forced by the franchise agreement to sell it to someone who would just follow the dumb policy.Quote:
