How do you change the text below your user name and above your avatar?

Mine is an auto generated "Machine Gunner". Many users are customized.

Guess I have to try harder.

Go to your profile > settings > avatar > title and when you change it you have to save it twice (glitch in VB software)

My default title fits me pretty well. [Coffee]

So since we are busted by the boss(and Ray), OP you can't change your title(auto title will change with post count til you get to GMKIA). But you probably have a 50/50 chance of getting one.

Only admin can change/over ride titles. Members can change/customize signature.

To settle this and stop the hoards of pm's let me explain how this works.

We (the staff) view it as a tradition of ours to reserve the right to change a persons title based upon something the member does that is either really cool or really stupid. We don't change titles at users request because where is the fun for us in that? Its one of the very very very few perks of this job we have.

I am sorry I sent one PM to you on the topic. Not sure where the hoards of PMs are coming from.

Why didn't you just note the above in post #9 instead of saying it was user changeable in the profile settings?

This was supposed to just a simple forum tech question, but even it got twerked into something "special".

Sometimes, I just don't get it.
