Does anyone have one and do they like it?
I have one. It?s just fine. Not and better or worse than any other pump shotgun I suppose. Functions fine with everything I have put through it so far. Won?t work with those mini shells but most shotguns don?t.
Also, if it matters any, pretty much zero aftermarket stuff for it.
I don?t know what is or isn?t available for side saddles specifically for the Winchester but there are those ones that basically attach with Velcro.
My biggest deal was I found the stock way too long for my liking and there were no shorter options. I had to get crafty and shorten the factory polymer stock. Much happier with the fit now.
I think I picked up my SXP because I found a smoking deal on it. I think I actually paid under $200 for it so thought I would give it a try.
I do trust it enough that it is currently my HD long gun right now. I need to put a light on it but I?ll have to get a little creative to make that happen.
Sorry. I don?t have a link handy.
If you can get to YouTube there are a bunch of videos if you search Velcro side saddle.
You basically stick a big piece of Velcro to the side of the receiver and the saddle sticks to it. I?m sure there are some neat advantages to this setup and probably some drawbacks as well.
Does stuff for the 1300 work on the SXP?
I think some of it does. I do believe the 1200/1300 stocks won?t work because there is something different about the rear of the receiver. I could be wrong on this as I?m going off my crappy memory.
I think the SXP is a Turkish copy of the old 1200/1300 series guns but I believe they are not 100% the same.
I have this 30" trap version which I bought from forum member this year. Reason I got it was, because it is difficult to find 30" 870 or 500.
Although it weights 6.5lbs, weight is kinda distributed evenly. Feels like ~1lbs lighter.
I just sold Mossberg 500 in 18.5" barrel platform, and sold 28" barrel on ebay couple days ago and keeping SXP Trap.

I had a 1200 with a 26" trap barrel in IC. That gun was so slick with the rotary bolt. I shot that thing like it was an autoloader. Unfortunately it was stolen and I've yet to find a replacement.
We had an sxp as a rental at the range.
Did not fare well ...
