What an embarrassing spectacle. The entire world must be thinking "Wow, what a bunch of assholes".

No doubt but this is the state of journalism in America today. But I think this was a far fairer debate than what we saw in 2016.
I actually could not hear both unless Mod gave both strong warnings.
Both had to get undecided voters to listen to them, but rather massive interruptions.
Both got D to D- performance.
Mod got D-
This shit was not republican or democratic rally. It was for undecided (which is small % watching) to help decide.
Wutang 2020
This "Debate" SUCKED! It devolved into a 3th grade food fight with a 5th grader trying to tell them to stop and be good. Watching this was 90 minutes of my life that I can never get back. Going to pray that this was the last one, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
I wonder what the polling results would be if the options were "Trump" "Biden" and "Completely start over with new primaries"
Embarrassing
Undecided?/ Anyone who believes there's actually an undecided voter out there. is smoking crack. Nothing personal, just the truth. The only undecided voters are the ones who haven't crossed the border, yet.
Legally, or not.
You're being too kind. The 5 min i tried watching was a fukin embarrassment.
Trump should have shut the fuk up. let biden bury himself. Then when it was his turn throw a curve ball at biden.
Like ask him.
How can you say i'm a racist when you've been a senator from Delaware for 40 years. Yet NEVER ONCE condemned the civil war statues erected / commissioned/ praised, by Nancy Pelosi's Father.
Mic drop and walk off.
I hate when people interrupt myself. My retort as a moderator would be "If you can't follow basic debate rules and decorum in such a simple process, how well can you abide by the constitution as president? Shut the fuck up until it's your turn."
I wish Trump could just answer the questions clearly and let Biden stammer and answer the wrong damn question.
What I would have loved to hear Trump say in response to the first question: "Because the Constitution directs me to nominate a new justice and for the Senate to give advice and consent. What Biden wants me to do has no Constitutional basis. I was elected to a 4-year term and I plan to do the job for an entire 4 years."
Trump's response after Biden gets done wandering about with "the voters need to have a voice". "The voters do have a voice. They elected me and the Senators providing advice and consent."
Next question.
I couldn't give a shit about Trump's taxes. Did he not break the law? Did he pass an audit? As long as he's playing by the rules dictated by the politicians that built the tax code, the politicians don't get to whine about it.
Trump isn't taking a penny of his $400K/year government salary for the job. How much did Joe take from the taxpayers?
Next!
Alfred E. Neuman for president.... What, me worry?
Yes, the debate sucked and it's naturally frustrating for any civil person to hear the constant interruptions by both parties. But Trump's job was to dominate, confound, confuse, and expose Biden's dementia, which he did.
Biden, pumped full of drugs, performed better than expected, but that's the advantage of a lifetime career politician. Trump's not a career politician, he's a wheeler-dealer who lacks the verbal intellect of politicos like Obama, Clinton and Reagan. Maybe that's why many people follow him despite his flaws.
I've never been a Trump fan but I like the policies he's pursued that has made nearly every working person in this country more prosperous.
It went downhill from the first question and only picked up speed. Frankly, I thought Wallace lost all control at the outset and never gained it back.
ETA: I have to give Dementia Joe credit...he held up and was able to answer questions better than I thought he would. His answers were all liberal bullshit and lies but he did remember them.
I opted not to watch. I don't like the circus anyway.
That's not an undecided voter. Those are people disgusted / fed up with the political system.
Yet voted to put politicians in office, they felt might make a difference at the state & local level.
An undecided voter looks at the ballot, flips a coins and pics someone. Or stays home.
I expected a contentious debate but last night surpassed that by a mile. I don't think Trump did himself any favors and I could see Biden fading closer to the end. All in all it was a disgrace to the American process !!!! JMHO
We tried to watch, just couldn't stomach the chit show.
Need to find someone to moderate that doesn't have a clue who is debating, or at least doesn't have and show bias toward one or the other. It shouldn't turn into a debate between Moderator and a debater, as it seemed to me it was, what very little I watched. Actually we tuned in on 3 occasions, but didn't last long on any of them.
Chris Wallace didn't do himself any favors last night, either, with his obvious bias towards Biden.
imagine being President Trump and fighting those lying leftists EVERY FUCKING DAY you're in office. The man has fortitude, he takes the fight right to them. Is it ugly and uncomfortable, we all know it, fights are ugly and uncomfortable.
The GOP has played nice because the GOP and the Democrats were on the same team. It isn't that way anymore, the old guard of the GOP wants their party back and the Democrats want their partners back.
That debate didn't help anyone. But, with the margins Biden has in just about each poll, in the end Trump ended up hurting himself more with that performance.
I know people will point to polls from 2016 being inaccurate, but this time there's far fewer undecided voters, more people hated Hillary than hate Biden, and the current unrest is showing that more young voters are likely to vote since Obama ran in 2008.
Why can?t they shut off the other persons mic when not their turn to speak? And they get shut off at 2 minutes automatically.

Imagine having the time to insult and argue with random citizens who made a comment on twitter. Every POTUS has 150,000,000 million people who dislike them and make negative comments and lie about them. There's only one that ever thought it necessary to respond and insult each one individually. Trump's style of handling of disagreement is for no other reason that being a legit, bona-fide narcissist with the glass ego and delusions of grandeur that come with it, and there would be a lot less "attacks" if he was normal... or civil.
Try standing up in a crowded office space and constantly start shouting at your cubicle mate, inventing every colorful nickname you can think of. Yeah, that strategy doesn't buy you friends at work either.
That doesn't mean I support Biden. It's just a comment that we need to stop rationalizing every bad behavior to be either justified or good. Hell, people were CHEERING when Trump said he was probably entitled to a third term at a rally last month. It doesn't matter what he says, CHEER. We have to police our candidates, not worship them.
That said, we can agree to disagree, I do appreciate your differing opinion.
Yup, tweeting back at those motherfuckers is a waste of time and energy. He needs to let it go.
Democrats and half the Republicans aren't co-workers, they are the fucking enemy.
Were they cheering or laughing that he just trolled the goddamn democrats again. I know don't want him to serve a 3rd term and I don't think he was serious, though it is hard to tell sometimes.
...and I appreciate yours.
Wallace really screwed the pooch, lost control early and showed blatant bias for Biden. I'm guessing he is getting some flak and probably is out as far as any future debates.
Trump was not going to be cornered by this puppet and the MSM. As childish as the exchange was, he did some damage to the Biden campaign and proved he was not going to be pushed around, good for him!
It will be interesting to see what changes the 'Commission of Presidential Debates' ( never heard of it ) comes up with on the rest of the debates, if there are any.
Moderator Chris Wallace Says Donald Trump Could Keep Interrupting Even If They Cut His Microphone
Chris keeps going further and further left, taking after his old man, Mike. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves Fox before too long.
LOL,
Trump did what he set out to do.
Put his record out there every chance he got and challenged and discredited biden claims.
Wallace was a putz and clearly was on biden's team, making statements rather than asking questions.
There has not been a "fair" debate in decades, and those expecting one will be disappointed, those that try to debate in a fair manner will be defeated, Trump knows how to get his hands dirty and get the job done.
Ted Cruz might have been more polished, but 2 against one, he would not had prevailed and he is very good at debating.
I was thinking about that this morning.
Ted Cruz wouldn't have been able to accomplish 1% of what President Trump has accomplished.
Aside from the twitter stuff which I don't see b/c I'm not on there much, President Trump is trying to kick their commie asses for us. We need to help his foot gain momentum.
As for Ted Cruz, he is and was known for not giving in or compromising. Probably most conservative on a senate floor.
True conservatives, but as people said, it will be extremely difficult to get anything done as a president. However, he is starting to compromise a little like health issues.
I am voting for Cory Gardner, but Ted is probably opposite of Cory.

They didn't have all the racially motivated riots during most of the primaries. Plus, with everyone dropping out right before super Tuesday and virtually giving the race to Biden at that point, a lot of people were discouraged about voting.
Also just saw today that The Chamber of Commerce, the largest lobbying group for businesses, is in favor of a Biden win, and a Dem Senate majority in addition to the 23 Dem candidates in the House that they are donating to.
