I'm surprised people care about the McRib, especially with all the talented smokers and other fooderati on this board.
This is my wife's favorite fast food from when she was a teenager and can't wait. As far as fast goes, it beats the same old burger and fries. I'm sure we'll be seeking them out when we go to town.

I thought the best news of 2020 was that we can get In 'n Out in the centennial state, now?
I very much prefer a double-double animal to a McRib. I think McD's still has the edge on french fries, but it's close.
I think I had a McRib sammich once, a couple of eons ago.....
I'm looking forward to a McRib. I don't think I've had one in close to 20 years.
While I tend to agree with you, 'dem's fightin' words to many on this site.
My team at work tends to travel to places with In-N-Out about once/year. Every time we "have" to stop there to get something to eat and each time I'm "meh" about the food. My favorite burger place in CO is still Drifters in Colo Spr.
As far as the McRib goes, I might just have to stop by McD's today on the way into work and grab a few for my team - more for the nostalgia than for the actual enjoyment of the sandwich. But, like my wife and I always say: We're Ginsue's, we gotta eat.
It's been a decade or so since I had a McRib. Agreed, that's It's a nostalgia thing.
Last time I had In-n-out, I grabbed the double-double animal style. I was on a road trip, and was VERY happy that there was a Bucee-s nearby, as they have the cleanest shitters around. That burger did not agree with me at all.
I have never eaten one.
In N Out make great burgers, better than your basic McDonalds or Burger King, certainly better than the custard places burgers. Culver’s butter burgers are pretty good. We will have a In N Out up here in Fort Collins next year. It will really screw up the traffic on college avenue for quite a while. I will need to leave another 20 minutes earlier than normal to take a alternate route to and from work.
When things calm down I will stop in for a Double Double and strawberry shake.
I just want a McDLT.
Actually I want McDonalds to bring back ready to eat food and heat lamps. I'm tired of waiting 5 minutes in the drive through for a double cheeseburger or something, only to bite into it and it's lukewarm at best.
It was not great, but I needed to have it. 3/10. Til next time.
F**k it. You guys wake me up when they open a Whataburger around here.
I hadn't had a McRib for a few decades but stopped for one today. Terrible. I'd eat another one next time they come back though.
What I won't do is make a special trip to In N Out. Someone said it earlier in the thread, but near as I can figure the only people that like that place are California transplants. It's not good...
I haven't been to a Culvers, but will stop in next time I pass one to give it a try. There are 3 in my area.
I don't care about _______ crowd coming in in 4...3...2..1...
I like in and out better just because it is cheaper than mcdonald.
McDonald is so expensive that I can go to a casual restaurant for that price.
Now if they have a awesome coupons, I will try mcrib.
Btw as someone said before I think mcdlt would be a good comeback. I will eat that just for the nice 80s memory.

I really need to try yak and yeti when buffet thing reopens.
People to me to try lunch buffet first to see what I like first.
Perfect timing too, I have stocked up on toilet paper. For the upcoming China Flu Part Duex!
I tried Drifter's once. Was not impressed.
Have had Five Guys several times. Still not impressed by the burgers. The fries and the peanuts are great although I'd still say McD's fries are better.
Haven't had In-n-Out but if Drifter's is really supposed to be inspired by them, I expect the only thing impressive will be that there were easily 60-70 cars in line for the drive-through at 2340 on Saturday night. The line went around the block and over to Voyager Parkway. At midnight.
Whataburger at Houston airport and in San Antonio was much more satisfying that Drifter's or Five Guys IMO.
My favorite burgers in Colorado Springs are at Bingo Burger downtown or Bad Daddy's Burger Bar in Briargate.
I just had a McRib for the first time either in my life, or at least my adult life, at lunch today. It was just ok. Super fatty and saucy... not really that exciting or worth the notoriety, in my opinion. I understand the marketing purpose and strategy they’re taking though. I doubt it would sell much after a few months of being on the menu permanently.
In and out is a good burger, but it?s not wait in a long ass line good. People are idiots.
Oh it may be coming
Will the Whataburger food truck stop in Colorado in 2021?

I have had one meal from Whataburger, one from Drifters and found both to be good. Not oh my gosh good, but good.
I don't do McD unless I am on a road trip. The Mc' Rib was also in the 'it's ok' group. I rather have the egg McMuffin with sausage.
The only fries I like are from Chick fil-a, tater tots from Sonic are fine.
For me a simple fried burger at home on a toasted bagel + real cheese works best. Fresh tomato if I have it.
The green line grill for what it is worth had the better onion burger over all the common burger joints in town(Col Spgs).
I liked these when they were on the $0.99 menu. They got so popular they started raising the price every time it came back. Asking damn near $5 for one of these leftover ground up meat shaped thingies is impressive. I commend McDonald's for single-handedly keeping capitalism alive in these trying times.
I like a bit of the old in & out...
Not that impressed by the burger chain though.
I tried one yesterday. The sauce is blander than I remember. I’ll skip them from now on. Better choices from local shops.
In-N-Out, and to a much lesser degree, the McRib, are coveted because they're unavailable--like Coors beer in the 70s. However, Burt Reynolds never made a movie about delivering a truckload of California to anywhere...
