I entered a contest here in TN where I now live. Its called the best buck contest. The winner is decided on how many votes he/she receives before the closing of the polling (DEC 14th). This contest is weird since size doesn't really matter in deciding the winner. It's more on your networking skills and thats why I'm calling on you. Help out a fellow COAR15'r and cast a vote my way as often as you can (one a day max).

Times are tight in my house this year and $500 would make momma happier. Especially since I spent at least $500 on this hunting trip to MO to bag this buck.

Haha! Maybe. I see this is more set up for the entry that has the best social networking skills and I fall short in that category. I see that she slipped to second but when the kiddies get out of school its all over for that first place guy. His buck is nice. To be honest, I think three or four bucks are better than mine. The guy who is currently in first is waaaaaaay better than that dink buck the teenage girl shot.

In the south I see the way of thinking is if its brown its down. If its got spike its going down and high fives are coming. Strange these southerners are.

Don't people in the south hate deer or something? I've seen people from the south on various boards talking about how there are nearly always TOO many deer, and they really need to be able to hunt them year round because they are a nuisance.

Maybe. Thats why the phrase "if its brown its down" came to be.
