Ammoseek shows they have 9mm in stock. I looked at their website and they are in Castle Rock.
Anyone have any dealing with them? It says they have a gun shop on site and you can pick up your ammo order there.
I'd rather pay tax than shipping and help local guys at the same time.
This is really interesting as just this morning I saw an ad for them on my Facebook feed. Went to their website and looked around. Looks like they have ammo in stock at not so insane prices. Just got done looking at online reviews and it seems they are extremely slow to ship ammo. However, that’s not important for us that can go pick the stuff up.
I just filled out the order form. Selected pick-up and the soonest is August 16th. A week isn't too bad, but if it isn't in stock, they shouldn't say it is.
Yep, that is the major complaint when I did research online. Many many people pissed off as they charged the credit card at time of order and it was weeks and weeks until they shipped or even got back to the customer via email or phone. Could have been growing pains when they moved to the new facility in Castle Rock, or could be they have crap customer service. Looking forward to your report back when you get the ammo. Sure would be awesome to have a reliable local ammo manufacturer that has good pricing.

Called them today to see if they'd buy clean, polished 9mm and .223 brass. "Sure, we pay $1.50/lb."
Um, scrapyard pays $2.20/lb for it, clean or filthy, smashed, cracked, or spent primers......

So, before the Great Ammo Panic of 2020, "low end" 9mm (non reloadable Berdan-primed steel cased Russian ammo, either Tula or Brown/Silver bear) was around $8 - $9/box, and boxer-primed brass "range" ammo typically started around $12 - $14/box (these prices had been relatively stable since I started buying ammo online around 2010 or so, except for the 2012 - 2014 post Sandy Hook ammo panic.)
Those numbers have been my "baseline" for calculating the change in ammo prices. I'm not really in the market (haven't been doing much shooting at all these past few years) but I'm idly curious to know what people are paying for 9mm, if they don't mind sharing the info.

Well, I handloaded for about 15 years and for me the issue wasn't money, it was time. Should point out that I had a single stage (lee) press so of course that's much more time consuming than a progressive press (but then again the progressive press costs more so that has to be factored into any accounting as well.)Quote:

I finally went down there for a looky, didn't tour the mfg building, just the gun shop. Don't really need anything, basically just taking the dog for a ride - but I DID score a used Frankford Arsenal F.A.R.T. brass wet tumbler, and two used FA Brass Dryers! All in great shape and work perfectly, and at GREAT PRICES! So now I have two of those tumblers and three of the dryers!

I bought 3 boxes of their 9mm ammo last spring only one FTE. So I bought 1000 from one of their flash sales for an exceptional price on 7/29. Was originally told 3-4 week delivery. Called twice to see how my order was going. was told both times it would be out the following week which didn't happen. During this time they were still running their "Flash Sales" I asked why, A couple of weeks ago I finally stopped getting their sale email's. I called today (8 weeks later) 9/23/22 and canceled my order.

All too often, companies that run continuous "flash sales" like that and take payment upfront while they can't ship are running ponzi schemes. Trying to front load with cash and never catch up. For a legitimate company, having a wait-list makes sense. When your name gets to the top, they should send an email/text/phone call stating you have 24 hours to confirm you still want to order. If you respond affirmatively, they will charge your card and ship product.
They did charge my cc the same day that I placed the order. They said they would credit me back when I cancelled, I also filed a dispute with my cc company to be sure.
It'll work out as I'll either get the ammo or I'll dispute it through my cc. All my past disputes (different companies) were refunded immediately so I am not to concerned. One of the advantages of cc over cash on the barrel head.Quote:
