Of course Biden is going to pick a person of color, and also a woman. Double dip in the political correctness. Just like he did with Harris and several other people he has appointed. Has nothing to do with being qualified. All about “breaking barriers”. Look where it has got him so far. Complete incompetence.
They are going to appoint Kamala. Biden can't run again. That puts Kamala next in line, but they don't want her because she sucks, everyone hates her and she couldn't win. So they've got to stick her somewhere being the party loyalist that she is. She'll become a major thorn in the party's side if they don't let her run in 24 and don't have anywhere else for her to go.
It will be funny if Marrick Garland gets appointed. :)
Apparently he's not happy at the news. https://twitchy.com/dougp-3137/2022/...-announcement/
I think he pretty much HAS to retire before the 2022 midterms, because otherwise the shellacking will make it impossible to retire until 2024 at the earliest (will be impossible to get a confirmation done).
Politically, gender, race, etc, I am not going to even waste my time.
However diversification of district and judges should be considered.
Too many same/similar appointees from appellate court judges. Too many same/close circuit/districts.

I read all 4 and cnn and fox has the best breakdown on potential candidates.

Can't wait to see what whackadoo, reimagine the Constitution, social justice over the law, mentally ill nominee that Joementia comes up with.
I identify as a Black Woman, and a lesbian for extra points…. Where does that put me on the list?
Well, the ideal candidate would be a Hispanic man that transgendered to a black bisexual woman that entered the country illegally and was previously employed as a police officer from Venezuela …
That's also living with a transgender of the opposite sex that flipped flopped back, and they have an adopted child that declared themselves transgendered at age 2 and got the surgery done via a witch doctor equipped with a machete, after surviving a capitalistic coup in an African nation, in which their poppy crops were seized.
And also poly, with a fat homosexual gamer of mixed race in a man bun that lives with them.
What is tragic is that the left thinks these are the most relevant attributes to consider for a position in the highest court in the land.
That's not a man bun, it's a he-hive.
But I digress...
Pretty sure bitch biscuit means something else….
edit: biscuit bitch is a restaurant in Seattle I’ve been informed of
Man bun
An oxymoron in terms, as it is neither edible or a representation of masculinity.
May also be called a Bitch Biscuit, or as seen below, a douche donut.
Always remember to let down your man bun before going onstage for your drag routine.
Im aware. Just playing on words & sentiments.
The cookie crack was funny though.
I just don’t get it…
If the main criteria is something the person is born with and nothing to do with experience, life choices, education, etc…..
Why is this any different than Biden saying that the next judge will first and foremost be a red-headed dwarf?
I know that sounds like sarcasm, and of course would be perceived that way in an argument with someone of opposing opinion….. but seriously?
Ok, so that decision is just plain fucking stupid and wouldn’t really get much argument on either side of the aisle I would imagine.
But…. A black woman is a little more mainstream than a fat ugly transvestite who hasn’t served a day in its life becoming a four star general.
But seriously… what’s the difference between Biden saying “black” and “woman” than saying “ red-headed” and “dwarf”…. Or hell, how is it different than let’s say the previous president saying the main qualification is “white” and “male”? I know we joke about liberals lack of logic, but even this has me pretty confused how it’s accepted in any form or fashion by anyone. It just sounds like the definition of blatant racism, yet totally accepted.
I feel like he has already played this card with the VP… now it’s seeming more like a fetish than a decision.
All the post i've read. Reminded me of one of my friends, who was informed by HR, When X comes back to work. He will now be a she / female. Which seems to be par for the cause now a days.
BUT the funny thing is what he said, when told.
And i quote " Why is it always the chubby ones " [LOL]
One of those came into the facility I worked at, it transed and said it was a lesbian trans because it couldn't get snatch as a dude

There's always local options to nominate to the Supreme Court. This one looks like the health secretary, could be a great fit for Biden's re-election slogan:
"Hiring trans, biological women can't have real jobs, who would make my toast? Back when I used to play knuckle-buckle with the drug store midget, nobody thought women would have jobs, but by gosh we found a loophole, and we got "women" jobs and we showed them, and I still get to have apple pie, which tastes great, more hair to smell for me, and toast, it reminds me of the time back in Bolivia I flew there to meet a guy named toast, and someone tried to shoot a rocket at us but I ejected and it killed my friend, goose. Or duck maybe. Duck tastes good too TWENTY TWENTY FOUR."
I think everyone else here agrees with this, but I'll just put it out there.
I couldn't give a rats ass if an appointee/candidate is black, white, brown, purple, male, female, trans, gay, pretty, handsome, ugly, tall or short. What I want and expect of anyone chosen to serve in any capacity at all levels of this nation is that the individual be an American citizen and that they be qualified to fulfill the duties they will be expected to perform.
In 2008 America elected a "black President". We didn't elect a qualified person who happened to be black; the nation elected Obama simply based on the color of his skin. He proved to be incompetent for the role. We, as a nation, still haven't learned anything from this mistake.
I know it's a pipe dream, but this nation has to learn to get past the virtue signaling and worrying about checking the various demographics boxes and focus only on selecting the best, most qualified, candidate for any position. Unless we do so, this country will be doomed to premature obsolescence. Because we're so focused on making amends for those perceived to have been marginalized, doing what feels good and right at the moment, we're giving our grandchildren a future that will look an awful lot like scenes from the movie Idiocracy. I fear for their future.
Same thing almost happened when Hillary was up. Spoke with someone at work that had no political argument but voted for her because "woman". Have to vote for her because of her gender.
Democrats. Still valuing people by the color of their skin and not the quality of their character.
I hope sleepy uncle Joe picks sleeper republican judge.
