Looks like draw results should start posting today. I have not received any emails yet.
Good luck to all in the draw and in the field!

Well, I didn't draw a cow moose license. Not that I expected it. It was my first year eligible after accumulating the required 3 preference points to draw. Now I have 4 points for next year.
A cow and it's yearling calf have been around the property for a few weeks. The cow was bulging, soon to drop a new calf or two if she hasn't already. Here's the yearling bull taking a snowy stroll in the river by the house. Yes, it's been snowing off and on today.....

Nice pictures!
I got my rejection email for moose as well. But I am trying for a bull tag, so likely will take much longer than your cow tag.

Yea, took 19 years to get my bull tag. Hope you do better. A year earlier an old friend drew his bull tag at 32 years. Fortunately, there are more moose in Colorado now.
We're still eating the last of the 2018 moose, the tougher "to grind" and crock pot fare. We've made some great Osco Busco meat from lower leg and shank of deer and pronghorn. Tender for tacos, etc. I'll never again grind it up for sausage.
I'd really like to connect with an elk or two this year. Past due.
For those who hunt Wyoming, today is the deadline for deer and antelope.
I've been reminding myself everyday to not forget and almost forgot.
I drew a season choice bull moose tag for GMU 49 / 500. I should have started scouting already, but I didn't figure on drawing a moose tag for another 10 years.

Wish me luck, and feel free to send me any tips.
Got second choice for bear. BE004O1R
Going to use it to hopefully find a new elk spot.

Good idea. If my RFW draw doesn't come through I'll check the elk otc dates for overlap.
Excellent, congrats! How many years of applying?
First suggestion, pick up a Thin Clear Flexible Cutting Board Mat 12 x 15 inch, like this to use as a megaphone to call bulls:
https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Fl...995960263&th=1
It's super light and can be quickly be rolled into a cone for extended calling distance. Go on YouTube to learn and practice the bull and cow calls. I can do it by voice alone but sometimes you want to do longer exploratory calls with the megaphone. On my hunt, I encountered 19 moose and called in 7 bulls.
Good luck!
Little Dutch, the adventures of my 2018 bull moose hunt are chronicled in this thread. You might enjoy it, and maybe get you a little excited. Gosh, I'm still excited about it....

Got my rejection $50 credit card charge for my Choice Moose. 3/5 points. Hope I get it sometime.
No goat, no sheep, no moose. 18 years and counting on goat.
However, I drew a primo muzzleloader buck tag
Got a deer tag for units 49, 57, 58, and 581 as well, valid from Oct 29–Nov 6. I don't normally hunt deer, but had some points to spend so put in figuring I'd get deer this year and nothing else.
Drew my eastern plains archery deer tag! Justwaiting to hear about pronghorn now as that was the only other draw I entered.
Got my pronghorn rifle tag as well! This will be my first pronghorn hunt. Picked the unit 120 tag which covers 120, 121, 125, and 126. 125 and 126 has a lot of open state trust land and walk in access areas so hopefully it works out. :)
CC got pinged for the deer tag price, hopefully Elk hits soon.
Both boys and I got Buck Deer, none of us got Pronghorn.
I also drew my RFW cow elk up near Craig.
Moose Dates:
ARCHERY SEPT. 10 - 30
MUZZLELOADER SEPT. 10 - 18
RIFLE OCT. 1 - 14
Deer Dates:
OCT 29 - NOV 6
Elk Dates:
NOV 12 - 16, DEC 1 - 5
Lucky year for me. It's going to be busy and expensive.
Gosh, no cow moose, no pronghorn, no deer, but I did get a cow elk tag for 23/24 where I've hunted elk for 35 years. I'll pick up OTC licenses for bull elk and bear when they go on sale, August 2, 9:30 a.m.
Last year I hunted 3 big game seasons in CO, this year only one. A disappointment but probably a good thing since I have so many projects going....
Our cats, Sushi & Kobe will miss out too. They prefer raw pronghorn but they like elk so I have work to do.
Sounds about the same as me… no luck on elk or antelope but drew my buck deer tag at least for 2nd rifle. I may try the secondary draw for a cow elk or second deer tag too.
Got both emails for deer and elk. Drew PP for Antelope this year.
CPW emailed and auto-called me yesterday saying my payment methods couldn't be processed. My card on file was replaced and no longer valid, but I updated and paid right after the draw. I did verify with CPW that I am good to go.
Just a heads up, today is the last day to pay if you have any issues.
Going to be a busy September. Drew an archery Elk, rifle bear, and have AK moose trip in the middle.
Woohoo. Good luck on your AK. moose hunt. I've gone twice and was successful both times. Hoping to make it back up there in the next year or two to do it again.
It's always jaw dropping when a guy walks up on a dead moose. A whole lotta animal to pack. But, IMO, I don't think there's anything better in the meat department to eat.
I lived up there for 3 years. It was great. I go back for spring bear every year, but this year my buddy talked me into coming back for moose. Certainly a chore to pack them out. Took 3 of us 3 trips for the last moose. Packing out in waders is way more fun talking about than actually doing.
Secondary date deadline coming up soon. Make sure you get your stuff in this weekend.

Just got word from CPW I drew an either sex elk tag for 4th rifle in 028! I guess looking at the left over quantity/odds paid of this time. Hopefully the fire they had a year or two ago didn’t ruin my intended hunting grounds… guess I’ll be doing some more scouting this summer!!! Can’t wait!
I received my cow elk tag for 12/23/23 and will also get a bull tag. But I again missed on deer in the secondary draw. Rats.
My friend in Cordova drew an Alaska cow moose license and picked up a Ruger .30-06 in the local police auction. She will air boat to an island off Cordova for the hunt. She's taken a few moose but now needs a bigger freezer before fall.
Seeing that all of my rifles are milsurps/FALs/AKs I needed a new rifle for my pronghorn hunt in October.. Picked up a Howa 1500 Carbon Stalker and a Burris ATXIII scope.

Good luck to all! Health issues make it a slim chance I'll ever hunt again. I'm lucky I can still walk my dog, and picking his fatass up is risky. Hiking offroad and rasslin' big dead animals - nope, no chance.
