After spending too much time trying to track some down I ordered from Powder Valley and paid the hazmat. I couldn't find anything within driving distance of CO Springs.
They assured me over the phone, 100% guaranteed, that they had a lot of it in stock. So I dropped everything and drove down there. Paid to park and hiked back to their store. They 100% lied. F those guys.
ETA: sorry for hijacking the original thread. Here's the old thread from when I was looking in 2021:

Scheels will have some occasionally, the Johnstown store had some in stock on Sunday.
Thanks fellas. With the price of gas, I'm going to skip the driving around town trying to find it. Also, I don't trust any customer service or store worker to give me an accurate inventory update just to drive there and find that they don't know their ass from a hole in the wall. Seems to be a common issue these days. I've done some research and there is a Pyrodex product that is recommended for the fun little cannon I purchased from a member here last week.
I can probably scout the Mountain Man in Manitou if you're interested.
Even pick some up if it's in stock, but I can't ship, we'd have to mule it up there...

Really appreciate the offer! However, I wouldn’t be able to come to Cs to retrieve it from ya. Nor would I expect you to come all the way to me for deliver. Super generous offer just to go look and buy it for me though!
FYI, I commute between Denver & Colorado Springs near weekly.
Been years since I've been in but Dads' Wholesale used to carry black powder I believe. Tried them?
I used the term "mule" specifically and deliberately. ...and ChickNorris chimed in on how it could be done. :)
In fact she and I teamed up to get a tube for a Dillon case feeder to someone up North a couple of years ago.
If you're interested in me doing some recon and/or purchasing some, tell me how many Fs and how much.

^^^^ 2f and I can't tell you all how much I appreciate it. I would say 3#
I can make it to Dad's, I just didn't have time today to call them today. Their website is old school (which I actually like in a simplistic way, but WAY lacking in info and what most other websites offer. ) but does not have gun powder listed as an item they stock. I will call on Wednesday and report back to you all! Thanks again for the support to find the unicorn of ignition source for the newly purchased mini cannon! I appreciate it, my neighbors may not. LOL! Last time I bought real fff powder was from the shop on Colfax when I was in high school! Had crates of the Goex in all FF sizes. Good times. Oh, and I'm not that old. Also used to buy "shell crackers" from a place off I70 and federal. Those were a kick in the pants. 12 gauge M80 fired out of a shotgun and exploded 100 yrds in the air with some seriously obnoxious report. Now, can just get something similar online for 100x the price and not as loud. bummer.
They used to be called bird bombs
In stock, can only buy #1 at a time, $37 a pound because Goex is out of business. Please advise.

Ps. He showed me the FFg when I asked to see it :)
Got your text. You all are awesome !
Now, when you get super bored
Skylighter.com
Their kit, a harbor freight rock tumbler, a box of lead balls, a screen, and a bit of water or alcohol. Suddenly it's $5/lb
^^^^^^.
I’ve been a fan of skylighter for years! For this mini cannon, I want to stick with the manufacturer instructed FF and grains. Just for peace of mind. And not turning the cannon into a grenade. I use the home made stuff for my cardboard tube salutes.
Looks like they were bought and going back into production soon!
