My sister was getting help from WIC over a decade ago as an Army spouse with kids.
Congress should get military pay including their housing, IMHO.
Speaking of inflation impacting those on a fixed income, the massive increase in housing prices has impacted those that even own their homes outright. Increased property values have resulted in significant increases in taxes.
