AWB Concerns from the Left

Interesting story. Expressing concerns about the 2A and perhaps being out gunned.

?As if Washington?s situation isn?t bad enough, an article published by Vice has added a sense of the bizarre. According to the story, ?progressive? (far-left liberal) gun owners are now worried that the new semi-auto ban ?creates a situation where ?traditional? gun owners?white, male conservatives?are sitting on an arsenal of high-powered weapons, which emerging demographics of gun owners, like LGBTQ people, leftists and minorities, no longer have access to.? People in that ?emerging demographic? only have themselves to blame for electing Democrats such as Inslee, Ferguson and the lawmakers who wrote and passed the new law.

The Vice report quoted someone named George, who would not give his last name, and identified him as ?a lifelong Democrat? who ?supports other gun safety measures that made their way through the legislature but says recent unrest in the U.S. has made him nervous about the future of the country.?

The story quoted George observing, ?This is also the worst time to unilaterally disarm a population of left-minded individuals. These next five or 10 years might decide the fate of America, and when the music stops and the next January 6 happens and we?re all scrambling to find a chair, I?m worried that the fascists will be the ones with all the guns.?

Gun control is based on racism. Probably Democrats too.

You know, it's a big country with almost 350 million people - if you look hard enough you can find anything you're looking for: A gay drag queen who loves Trump? Sure, you could find one. A "life long Republican" NRA member who lives Biden? Yep, you could find one.

Sorry, but no sympathy for these hypocrites. They are working furiously to deprive people of their rights, and are astounded when they lose theirs? Fuggem.

So sad.

All the help we can get. The second amendment is for everyone. Even if these crazies think its for a boogie man that is in front of them instead of behind them.

They voted their way into defenselessness and I don’t care!

Maybe George should consider whether he would rather deal with a "facist" who doesnt want to take his rights or communists who will take his life after they take all our rights.

Typical liberal mentality ("Rules for thee, but not for me") that they didn't think through regarding the potential impact in how the laws would equally apply to them, not just "others".

But hey, the laws were "common sense" and all; right?!

George, like so many of his commie ilk, continues to frame fascist ideology as right wing. I suspect that is because fascism and communism have always hated each other. Flawed thinking that because you hate a competitor that they are not really like you. We are not fascist because we don’t agree with communists. We also don’t agree with fascism or anarchy. None of these ideologies are in line with the Constitution.

Still, we don’t need to ban firearms so that “they” can’t arm up. Even with a ban, somehow they will be supplied with arms. Wouldn’t be the first time.
