Interesting move is it the easy button to stay in Congress?
Other than generally good 2A policy, I am really not sure what she brings to the table. I know it will upset some here on forum, but she is pretty much an equivalent to AOC on the right side of the aisle.
She lives rent free in the left minds and seems to annoy them to no end. I hope she prevails if only for that reason.
Didn't take her long to become politician and be all about whatever it takes to get re-elected vs finding best person to serve citizens.
Too bad she fell to power and celebrity.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
Yes.
Moving to the most Republican district will likely ensure another two years for her.
She was probably going to lose the 3rd district. Her opponent has a huge fundraising advantage and many voters have soured on her and her antics.
She was on the radio this morning blaming the "Hollywood elite" and "dark money" for attempting to sway the election.
It will be interesting to see what empty suit the Colorado GOP runs in the third. Election two years ago was very close. My guess is that the Democrats will gain control of another district.
Yeah, she walked a very thin line on that interview where she wouldn't admit she would probably lose that seat to Frisch this time around as the people of that district are tired of her antics and want someone to calmly and positively represent them and their interests in Congress. So now, she will run in the 4th with the hopes she will beat the other people in the primary who have already announced their run for the seat. Will she win that primary? I don't know. I'm not all that thrilled with her representing me in the 4th. Her antics, bomb throwing and the train wreck of her private life is embarrassing, frankly.
Her stupid antics at Denver Performing Arts Center are not really the example we want to set for congressional representation.
Putting on my nomex suit:
Sorry hunter. Not picking on you personally so please don?t take it as such.
But that attitude right there is why the commies keep winning. People get offended about behavior by republicans and ditch them only to have the other side win and introduce a worse person albeit one that speaks nicely in public and whose actions and agenda get whitewashed by the media. (No more mean tweets!!!!!). Bad behavior from the Ds somehow is accepted by republicans but if republicans behave ?unacceptably ? every republican gets offended and wants to replace them.
As long as the likes of occasional cortex are tolerated and not replaced by the left why is the right so keen to replace anyone not part of the milk toast right?
Whether you like it or not the rules of the game have changed. The right needs to adopt to the new rules or keep loosing. Loosing with dignity is still loosing.
I am not sure how the above translates into votes for the other side.
If Bobert was in my ballot (she won't be), I would absolutely vote for her over the typical prog idiot. I think Trump is an pompous asshole, but voted for him without thought over the Sea Hag and Dementia Joe.
Is it too much to want some eloquent qualified rancher or businessman to run for the GOP congressional candidate slots? I am not talking about some evangelical bubba who wants sharia-level control over women's reproductive systems. To be perfectly honest, that fetishism with that topic alone is costing the GOP elections across the nation, with VA being the current example.
Its a big deal to do it in public, in front of other people, to be asked to stop (vaping) and then act indignant about it and lie until shown video proof and then say, "whoops, my bad:".

I agree completely.
Bad behavior from the Democrats is not accepted by the Republicans but they have little recourse since they do not chose who runs or is elected.
Your argument says that in order to win the Republicans need to find someone equally slimy. This will never work since most people in the media lean left and will never give equal coverage to the scumbaggery committed by both sides, whether local or national. The Republican will always be made to look worse for lesser offenses.
Fighting fire with fire can be a good tactic at times but this is not one of them. The GOP is trying to win the war of ideas. It will be very difficult if they put forth repugnant candidates.
Karens decide elections.
What does she bring to the table? She's an uneducated idiot that got elected pretty much on the premise of her looks and the 2A restaurant. She was BARELY able to get her GED right before being seating in Congress. She's whoring around politically and amid her family. Nothing about her promotes family values or anything that would show independent or young voters why they should vote right. She's starting to become a walking, hypocritical billboard of for why they shouldn't, encompassing a lot of cliche's in the process.
If her credentials are "she lives rent free in the minds of the left", then the qualifications to receive a vote from the """right""" have fallen to levels potentially below the basement floor. If the goal is ultimate division, why are you voting in the first place, just embrace anarchy with all the left fringe groups that also place the same value in a vote. Here's an astounding concept: Just because someone got elected once, doesn't mean they need to keep being elected.
I know, it's wild, but voters can select someone else that better aligns with their interests. We need more people like Trey Gowdy, not South Park Blowbert making us all look like utter idiots with buffoonery and trailer park antics, bleeding off future party voters in the process.
Sometimes the bigger picture matters...
Inevitably within the next few years, she'll probably have a kid out of wedlock who will be younger than their nephew/niece. Photos taken of her vaping or drinking while pregnant that she'll deny. She'll be rolling around with a Tattoo shop owner whose a commie, while flipping off a bunch of people in a parade.
[Before you think this prediction is absurd, realize it's very close to what has already happened during this last term]
Hopefully she won't be the face of the GOP in the news.
Wonder if she realizes that she was not that popular in district 4 while she was running for district 3?
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
I’m waiting for the announcement of her Only Fans after her career in politics is over
Okay, I'll admit that I find her physically attractive and I greatly appreciate her 2A stance.
But, like others have said, she's not particularly bright - or if she is, she isn't demonstrating it. In fact, she's showing herself to be the Right-aligned version of AOC who usually falls below the intellect of a water spigot.
Now, the problem is that SHE is the option we're presented with to run against the Left. Given the option of having a current Democrat or having Boebert in office, I'll vote for Boebert every time. I honestly believe that she'd do us less harm than anyone the Dems bring forth.
The question I've had for the last decade+ is WHY can't conservatives find ANYONE better to offer to the constituency? It seems we're constantly being offered the options of REALLY BAD or WORSE at all levels of government. Even most of the seemingly good options turn out to be just as bad as all of the others within their first term. Where are the candidates we'd really want in office?
Who wants to deal with all the crap that goes with it? The constant barrage of negativity, all aspects of your life being put under the microscope, all your past being put under the microscope (did he really write that term paper or was he really a bad boyfriend to that spurned girl?) and the constant social media inundation that goes on with being a civil servant nowadays.
I live in Douglas county and watching the constant, daily, social media garbage and maligning being put out on various FB pages, Nextdoor pages and like, against our County Commissioners (who unfortunately, seem to continue to do stupid things and say stupid things, which get overly highlighted ALL THE TIME) or the School Board representatives is the main reason I wouldn't be interested in running for office, even at that local level. Admittedly, I have thin skin and I wouldn't take all the abuse lying down and quiet. I'd want to go after the social media spewers. Ring their doorbell and punch them in the head, male or female.
Boebert's switch to the 4th district is her last ditch effort remain relevant and in the big politic money train. Third district voters have soured on her for many reasons, and the absurd scene she made at the Denver Performing Arts Center was the last straw. One of many like it, she demonstrated that she's an arrogant brat, high on her self importance and flush with bucks after her marriage and divorce from a hard working man and father of her children. She was certain to lose her seat to Aspen leftist, Adam Frisch.
As for her chances in the 4th congressional district primary, I give her 50-50 if the GOP field pares down to give Jerry Sonnenberg a fair shot. If it were Sonnenberg alone, she would lose the primary, solidly, IMO.
The GOP favorite in the 3rd district is Jeff Hurd, a respected Grand Junction attorney, active in the party. https://jeffhurdforcolorado.com/
Dem Adam Frisch now has wide name recognition. If Jeff Hurd can get enough campaign funding to develop name recognition, I think he has a strong chance to prevail.
I'll start with the usual "I have an equal distain for both parties" qualifier.
Now, what is the right side of the isle bringing? I get that politics, currently, is very incendiary but is there no cream rising to the top?
I have no answers, only questions. My new home is just as fawked up in many ways but maybe less so. [Shake]
White trash.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
Is it just me or is Bobert just a better-looking version of Mayim Bialik?

I am moving towards the opinion that if somebody wants to be in a political position, we don't want them in a political position.
Perhaps we should move towards a sort of jury duty type appointment for everything from school boards, city councils, state representatives, even Congress? Once a minimum level of qualification is met, citizens serve their term and that's it. No self-promoting, wanna-be career politicians with activist driven agendas.
I'd settle for requiring any candidate for political office to first pass (with at least an 85% score) the same test that is given to immigrants applying for US citizenship...
I have serious doubts that most of the potential candidates for president could manage that.
I've also thought we'd have more political success with this kind of method than our current primaries/elections, even as screwed up as it would be.
Guess what, random soccer mom, you're the US president, kicking, screaming, helicopters abduct you into the Whitehouse.
Would they screw everything up? YES. But, admittedly far less than the current candidates we field.

More trouble for the princess.
On Saturday night, three years to the day after supporters of Donald Trump attacked the U.S. Capitol building, election objecting Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is the subject of an active police investigation into an alleged physical altercation with her ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, at a restaurant in her district Saturday night.
Not too biased, eh?
Jayson Boebert told The Daily Beast... that his ex-wife had "punched" him in the face multiple times.
