Oh man, I'm such a dummy, I voted for Casa Bonita instead of Elitch Gardens. It should be 3 to 0. What a dummy.
Elitches doesnt force you to buy a plate of their horrible food, so I vote Casa Bonita.[Help]
I saw the thread title and the first thing that popped into my mind was "which place sucked more?"[ROFL1]
I'll take a $9 plate of mediocre Mexican food over how ever much Elitches charges to get into their shit hole any day. Plus, I hear Casa Bonita has good margaritas.

$13 now for the stuff. We had to take some out of state friends there.
And Elitch's wasnt even cool enough to get an episode of South Park titled after it...
Yeah, but they filmed The 3 Ninjas, 3 at Elitches. You know how much the lockers are at Elitches now? $10! Sure, they give you back $8 in Elitch Bucks, but the price and quality (laughs out loud at quality) of their food is my biggest complaint.
Both places suck but I voted Elitches because I hate standing in lines with a bunch of wanna-be gang bangers who think they're the toughest mother f*ckers in the world. Plus I agree with Stuart, I love margaritas!
Last time I was at Elitches (and boy do I mean LAST time) there were a bunch of prosti-tots walking around looking like such trash. I'm talking like 14-15 year old girls walking around with their shorts unzipped and the flaps pulled back. I was waiting for some mom to smack those bitches mouths right off; but it never happened. :(

Elitches though... While I've been there, oh, probably 3 times - the last time was, at the lastest, 2002, I did enjoy the rides - when I could get through the lines to actually ride them. I too got fed up with all of the gang-banger wannabe's, high prices, and long lines with questionable safety so I just quit going.

My mom tells me that even from when she went to Casa Bonita as a kid, the food hasn't changed one bit and still tastes exactly the same. My parents took our daughter there a few months ago.
Oh and by the way, The Denver Zoo and Water World both absolutely DESTROY Elitch Gardens when it comes to fun factor and being worth your money.

well, one allows ccw, one doesn't. Live close to CB, Worked at Elitches (the real one on 38th) and met my wife there... pretty good times. CB, crappy food, but appears to allow ccw.
I voted for Elitches... You don't go to CB for the food, or much of anything else really... elitches just is pretty crappy all around...
Elitches sucks. WAY too damn much money to spend waiting in line all damn day in the hot sun. Honestly, I don't understand how you urban dwellers ever get used to crowds like that.
Went to Casa Bonita as a kid a few times and it was cool. Took my daughter there for her six'th birthday. She thought the food was good. No one else did..
I voted Elitches, but honestly the entire City/County of Denver is someplace I choose to avoid.
I voted for Elitiches. At least I know that if I go to CB I will get sick for a few days, my wife may not sleep in the same bed as me that night and I will get to watch a cheesy show. When you go to Eliches you run the chance of picking up a disease from the bathroom, you trust your life to a 13 year old running a ride, the security will steal what they can from you, you are waiting for a gang turf war to break out, and you get to see more muffin tops than at a bakery.
