Wow! Guilty of 3 felony gun charges, just the thing Joe needed right before his bumbling anti-gun speech today.
I think it was a big surprise to the Biden administration and the media. I was shocked to hear it. I guess the jurors took that "no one is above the law" chant the Dems are pushing to heart! It's going to be interesting to see if Hunter Biden serves any time and what impact this has on the Presidential race.
As much as I don't like the man or his family................. IF IF we apply the "what does the average person that does this get" approach, no I don't think he'll get a prison sentence for this.
The "average person" without any priors, people or property damaged, no threat to the public etc............ no jail time.
Now what I AM curious about is his other court cases.............
His family has some pretty decent political connections so he isn?t going to do any time soon.Quote:

The only impact I see from this event is it further pushing the agenda that more restrictions on constitutional rights are needed to prevent this kind of thing from happening to anyone else.

Reminds me of when I was at Machine Gun Tours a few years ago. Some dumbass went outside and smoked a blunt while waiting for the 4473 to process and come back. Yea, that went over well when he returned to ask if it was done yet. Didn't even go to the parking lot to spark up. Did it right in front of the windows on the sidewalk. His doobie stench followed him into the shop as well. The owner had a great laugh and some words with the idiot. Everyone in the shop had a good laugh and kind of dick piled on the dumbass.
Sacrificial lamb. Letting him get convicted on the gun charges takes Hunter out of the news cycle and short-circuits the REAL issue: Hunter's selling of Joe's influence. They tried to do it in a way that wouldn't buy Hunter a felony conviction but the judge wasn't having any of it.
I'm still not convinced Joe is as senile as he appears -- I think he plagiarized the wandering and mumbling about nonsense from Vincent "The Chin" Gigante.
Anyone needs to look at historical video footage of him, he's always had gaffes and always seemed almost pathological in his inventiveness in stories.Quote:
