This appears to be the pistol used to shoot the UCHeath CEO in NY.
I've never heard of it. A UK bolt action WWII pistol in 9mm or 32 with silencer.
Must be very rare these days.

based on what info? it looks like a standard striker fired semi auto with a can without a neilson devices causing failures to feed to me
This is the latest guess...

It?s very clearly a semi-auto in the full unedited video.
It is not a welrod. It is not a station 6.
Here's CBS saying it's that B&T Station 6 ................ but it's CBS..................

Around the 00:45 to 1:10 mark or so..................
Everything else was preceded by some form of, “police say” except that statement. And they’re the only ones saying it.

I doubt the killer would use a rare and expensive gun to do this.
A $2000 gun is a lot to lose in case you have to drop it in a river. Plus, a legally purchased gun and suppressor leave an easily followed paper trail.
He smacks the slide a couple of times. It looks like he is tried to get it to go to battery. That's not the way a station six is operated. Pushed forward and then turned, locking like a rifle boat.
Also, when the gun it fired, smoke comes out of the center of the gun, like a normal slide operated semi-auto.
I don't care that much about this, honestly.
But you are applying way too much logic to this question of the pistol:
if it is a B&T............... who's to say it isn't stolen?
Likewise crazy people are crazy. Crazy people dont think rationally........... if he's on a mission from God, who's to say he doesn't care about any registration of the gun, what ever it is, because he didn't expect to get caught?
It's just sad that, like the 2 Pres Trumps attempted assassinations, there are people cheering this one and making into some sort of class warfare.
It’s clearly a semi auto that is malfunctioning. Gas can be seen leaving the ejection port vertically when it’s fired. A bolt action gun wouldn’t do that.
My guess is that if they ever find the gun it will be some sort of regular old shitty semi auto like a Taurus or HiPoint shooting some sort of hollowpoint ammo thus the multiple failures.
My guess is a stolen Glock, subsonic ammo and an Ali Express solvent trap suppressor.
I say Glock because there are so many of them it would likely be easy to acquire, legally or not. Plus, the parts are cheap. You can get a threaded barrel for $50.
Mangione had a ghost gun, which can be assembled at home and can be difficult to trace, Kenny said. The gun may have been made on a 3-D printer and was capable of firing a 9 mm round, he said.

If he's smart, he'll demand a jury trial. It'll be hard to find 12 people that aren't biased.
UH/acquisitions are responsible for about 50% of claims denials in the country.
Came here to post this............. you beat me to it.
If that is, in fact the Suspect, which I think it is but................. ??
I am curious to see an actual picture of it.............. it is VERY annoying to have rely on the press and their vague descriptions of the gun involved ....
I ASSUME it's a "ghost" gun receiver/frame and maybe a Glock slide etc................. but who knows.
Likewise if it is entirely a ghost gun, that would explain the lack of cycling.
Not a Welrod.Attachment 97834
Weird he didn’t have a $2000 NFA item…..
Welrod, then a veterinary gun now a ghost gun. The accuracy of the news!
