How expensive? There is Simms Landing on 6th and Union if you like seafood and a view. 240 Union on the other side of the highway is a very good as well (and probably less pricey). Anything in particular you are looking for? I'm partial to Mexican food myself.
Price should be under $35 for two. Just a notch above TacoBell. She's only been gone a week. I like everything.
Go buy some steaks, wine, and cook for her it will mean alot more...
Oh okay, then you like the same restaurants I do. I like Jose O'sheas just SW of 6th and Simms.
Also, there is a place called Columbine Steakhouse on 6th and Federal that is very good. They bring you a regular knife and fork wrapped in a napkin, but with a killer steak. It is kind of ghetto for how good their steaks are, but I like it because you don't have to pay for "atmosphere" and it is the only steak house I can afford that has actual GOOD steaks. Much better than anything I've ever had at Outback or any of those places.
I think there is a Rodizio grill around there. Not sure on price but the food was varied and good.
ETA: Apparently I am out of the loop. It isn't there anymore. The Fort may be a bit over what you want to spend, but well worth it. $35 each or total?
ETA 2: again lol. I have gone full retard. There is a great mongolian BBQ off Arapahoe and Quebec. A bit east of where you are looking but All you can eat and very good.

Or just go to where Stuart says.
Mexican or/and Mongolian. Good choices. We used to eat Mongolian all the time out in Los Angeles.

There used to be that Ghangas Grill at Colorado Mills. The make your own mongolian deal, but it's gone now and I don't know where another one is except for in Denver.
You can always check Denvergrub.com for more places. May be a good starting point, I haven't lived in Jeffco for about a decade.
And WHEREVER you go - if it isn't any good....

Moose Hill Cantina on Colfax, west of Simms. Some of the best Mex in the Metro area...
That place is still around? I haven't been there since I was like 14.
Moose Hill Cantina is very good but Jose O'sheas is better. If you go to Jose O'sheas, try the fajita burrito...yum!
If you go to Tequilla's in Golden (on South Golden Road), make sure you have a ride home if you order the Chaquita Boom! margarita. It is basically $24 worth of margarita poured into one glass the size of a 1 gallon fish tank.

Probably 5 of the best 10 places to eat in the Metro Denver area...and I have the figure to prove it...[Beer]
Tequilla's terrible! I won't go into details on how I felt the next few weeks after I ate there. Hacienda Colorado is pretty damn good, I will have to agree. I travel all over the state and I eat a lot of Mexican and can say that the places mentioned are just average compared to some place I've eaten at. Funny I'm sitting at La Estrellita writting this...another place that I reccomend. Plus I'm having 2 for 1 margaritas with my dinner.
I don't know but nobody mentioned a single place in SW Jeffco. lol 6th/Simms area is more like NE Jeffco...
I'd call it West Jeffco.
Well, thanks for the ideas but things didn't go as planned. My wife came home in a pissy mood, something about the house being a mess. Dam, before she got home I did 2 loads of dishes, 2 loads of laundry, all the animals are still alive (3 cats, 4 birds, snake and bunch of fish) and I fixed the truck.
Maybe tonight [Love4]
What kind of snake?
Oh and sorry it didn't work out. At least you saved the price of dinner. Whenever my lady is mad (awake) I usually start sentences with "Yeah, well Troubleco..." It never helps me out.
Green Tree Boa I think.
I like opus its off littleton blvd and santa fe
the most important words to remember
Yes dear.
Your right dear
and of course
I'm sorry you are absolutley correct.
and no it doesn't matter if she was right or not.
and if she ask if this makes me look fat, run[ROFL1]
Cool snake. I had a cool corn snake for about 4 years. I tried to put it in a set up just like that, but since he wasn't an arboreal snake, he didn't like and tried to hibernate for like 6 months. I probably nearly killed him.
