Great. If it was such a problem for "several months" why not bring the parents in on it. Surely they had a parent teacher conference in that time. [Bang]
"made the other students uncomfortable"
how come anti-gun folks always hide their feelings behind the face of a child?
If we're headed for hell I wish we would hurry up and get there.

Jammer told the paper her son isn't violent and doesn’t have toy guns at home. She suggested a less harsh punishment, like taking Mason’s recess away, might be more effective in teaching him not to make a gun with his hand.Or how about exercising some parenting skills? Buy the kid a toy gun and begin to teach him the dos and don'ts of firearms handling and safety.
For crying out loud...when did it become a crime to be a little boy? We are raising a society of p*****s.
Nothing like a bit of fake outrage to start the morning off right :D
I live within three blocks of Dry Creek Elementary. I graduated from Cherry Creek HS, what a bunch of shit. I love how the principal is covering her ass asking if they have guns at home. Who cares? If they do, that's their right. If they don't and they feel safe, good luck to 'em.
Oh my God, I can't believe this country anymore. I just love how when someone else is uncomfortable or 'feeling harassed' they assume there is a crime...no crime just stop being a sissy!!! Welcome to the world where there are all kinds of little crazy and scary things...and apparently at the top of the list is a six year old making gun hand gestures
this shit is sickening. I am sending the principal a email later today
The principal has already met with the mother and agreed her action was inappropriate.
And the mother has revealed that the kid is in therapy and being tested for the usual attention/hyperactivity disorders (according to her, after repeated meetings with the school about her kid's behavior before anyone assumes it's because he made a gun with his fingers).
yup that's why I'm not at work today. They asked me the same question about guns in the home.
Pathetic.. meanwhile the same mind set leftists in hollywood reap billions in violent movies. I personally think todays kids are more influenced by those.
we are but it takes time, and the suspension stands until after the hearing. what a pain
So if you win do they give him an extra day at school?
Now that would be funny, but no they just take it off his record from what I understand
well that isn't fair, you still get the punishment even if your found not guilty.... they should make (let) him spend an extra day...
It's Cowpeople vs Native American people nowdays. (not cowboys and indians duh)
NAP must approach CP and ask what their intentions are? CP must in return reply "Why to sue you and take your land through a loophole we discovered through our corrupt legal system"
In which the NAP must say "Bull we have a right to our land and we are gonna build casinos and take all your CP $$$"
But then the evil Bankers come in and steal every thing so the CP and the NAP are left with nothing but sticks and stones.
When did it become a crime to be a kid ? It's stupid now but when I was a kid we actually used BB guns when we played cowboys and Indians. I still remember every adult telling us we'd put some one's eye out and to this day I don't have any one eyed friends ! Not condoning our actions but we were kids and survived.
+1 there. Stag.....
this happened in michigan.
nuff said
those administrators that suspended those kids were probably born in michigan.
Bruce Lee was my Sensei..
