...to head down to the Knotty Pine in Bailey to fill my prescription for the best soft-serve ice cream this side of the Platte River.
Seriously...next time you're in Bailey, have some. It's killer. They have ammo, too.

I'll have to try some the next time I head to Salida. Thanks for the heads up.
Let's set a time. We'll all meet there. Whe're Bailey?:)
Uh...20 minutes.
Almost 2 hrs from Colorado Springs... and they're closed Wednesdays..
really i will have to stop by some time are they open on weekends?

Tourists gotta love em....
I have to get my passport renewed. Now that I have both this critical information (Ice Cream at the KP) and my flashy green "Postal News" flyer from the Bailey post office advertising their "new" passport services maybe I'll just make a day of it and get it done there instead of down-the-hill or Evergreen.
Wow...ice cream, passports, man...steppin' up in the world at the bottom of Crow Hill.
Ice Cream and Ammo at the same place !!! What is the Utopia you speak of ??
Just kidding-have to stop at KP next time I'm going that way.
Anyone know if the Bucksnort is opening this summer?
Nope, sorry... can't beat Blue Bell ice cream. Especially the vanilla bean flavor...
Born and bred in Texas, yes sir.
And just think Bailey Guns old store front use to be just down the road from the KP in the "ATF building"!
Talk about a one stop shop!

Haha, is that store there now? I love it. ATF:)
Yeah...I really miss my ATF sign. I should've taken that off the bldg when I left.
How was the ice cream?
Chocolate/vanilla twist, in a cup. Cold, sweet, delicious and refreshing. As usual.
Soft serve and ammo? Next time I'm in Bailey I'll be stopping!
It must not have been Thur-Tues.
So is Hog Heaven still at the top of Crow Hill?
I've been looking for an excuse to drive to Bailey. Good ice cream is as good of a reason as anything.
I don't want to drive all of the way there unless I got an opportunity to drop in on Bailey's Guns and (from the way I hear it) even if I could find him, I wouldn't make it to the top of his drive alive.
My drive is fine...for now. If a Dodge can make it up my driveway, anything can! [Coffee]
(Sorry, Kirk...)
