Some jerk had his tail gate plastered with all this stuff saying that 9-11 was an inside job by bush and find out the truth etc. it pissed me off. i asked if he believed that and to act like an american. some words were exchanged. i hate people like that. just needed to vent

this reminds me ... when I was a kid my Dad and I were in DC sightseeing, and some protesters were outside the supreme court showing their displeasure with the death penalty. As we passed by a scruffy hippie type asked my Dad what he thought of the death penalty. Dad said if someone is found guilty of murder, fry him. The hippie's face contorted and he said "You know you're going to burn in hell, right?" Dad just shrugged and replied "You asked" and we kept walking to the capitol.

yeah I never tend to say anything either myself as I wouldn't want it to escalate. This is a free country from government prevention of free speech, as it should be, but there is no reason that people can not verbalize their distaste with each other from civilian to civilian. Social pressure is much more effective than any law ever could be.
