No thanks, I'm a vegetarian.
If you want to join, but either don't want to use your truck, or don't have one, we can try to get you a seat with one of us. The option to end the trip with a little shooting at Harris Park is open too.
In my old CJ5 that was rigged for more hard core wheeling, absolutely, but Slaughterhouse on my mostly stock TJ, not so much :).
You can do 90% of Slaughter House in a Subaru Forester. Are you sure you're thinking of the right place? Slaughter House is fun though. It's where I broke my off-roading cherry.
Well, not technically, but I still count it as my first.
Member spleify ran it 2 weeks ago in his bone stock TJ, not a scratch.
i had a blast there and it was my first time
Maybe I'll kick it around... Where and when is the meet?
We can meet at the Loaf-n-Jug in Bailey, the one on TOP of Crow Hill, time has yet to be determined.
anytime works for me, ill bring guns and ammo hahaha
I am open as to the time as well.
It is "stock" but it is a JK Rubicon...

Had a friend go through with a stock 4Runner. There is a by pass to the only hard part.
While it is factory, a Rubicon is hardly "Stock" lol. From the factory it will do everything my Cherokee will do, and I put lots of money and busted knuckles into it. With that said, Slaughterhouse is a very mild trail. Even before the forest service went in and knocked a bunch of obstacles down and tried to smooth things out, it was fairly mild. Wish I wasn't working on Fri, I really need to get some wheeling in before summer is over.
Yeah Slaughter house was pretty easy. It was my first time up there so I have nothing to compare it to from years past but it was a lot of fun and IMO a nice day out on the trail.
Sorry about the missed ID on your jeep spleify. Rubicons are tough right out of the box. But I bleed Ford blue.
Got back today from a camping trip with my nephew.
my suzuki bounced so bad over the washboards on rampart range road I almost lost control.
now I have to decide if I'm gonna get work done on the shocks or give up and get a jeep.
How does 11 am sound? Anyone besides glock21 able to confirm?
I can change the time to work with your schedule if needed.
I wish I had the willys/ford put together so I could get out there with you guys!
We have had rain the last 2 days, could add to the fun a little.

This was from a couple weeks ago.
Elhuero, I had a similar issue in my Toyota Tacoma once. I think it was just because it was such a light truck in the back end. I had to put it in 4wd just to drive up this switch back that my car could have easily made it up. I kept fishtailing while driving normal.
just to let you know there is to Target Shooting in Slaughterhouse Gulch
Have fun
Sat is Bailey Day
Later
so who all is up for the trip today
Looks like next week for Blackford's bumper project. And we are building a big oven for powdercoating stuff.
Going up high Sat. atv's. Finally a Day off to play.
have fun and be safe.
Well, how about Saturday the 31st?
Raining again, mud is way better than dust.
Need to post pics of my old. Bronco2. 6 inch suspension 2 inch body. Explore axles front and rear 4.56 gears Detroit rear true track front. Heart attack hill is still the most crazy thing I've climbed. Not sure I'd do it again..now I have a zj given to me by my brother. Just need a new battery and licence. Has a rubicon 6 inch with 33 s. Stock axles with 4.56 gears and arb lockers. Tomkin machine steel bumpers front and rear. Same brother that gave me my nhm91. Maybe I should start a I love my brother thread
The craziest thing I ever did was something like Fireman's Chute or something like that. We nearly endo'd a Wrangler down that.
I'm down for saturday. Trans works great Blackford, thanks. Let me know time for the meet.
Make it early and i can make it
How about 9:30, either my house, or the Loaf-n-jug.
