I had the pleasure of stopping by Bowers Tactical today and can only say I wish I had done so sooner.
Great shop! Thanks again for your expert advice!
Huge +1 from me as well. as soon as Mike gets the FFL - this shop is gonna be the one and only place to shop for my gun needs.
same from me as well. I went in earlier to get a new handguard for my AR and they were very helpful!
Yeah, same here. I stopped in a couple of days ago and was pleasantly surprised. It'll be good when he gets that FFL, though I imagine he'll get a lot of my accessory business in the meantime.
I hate this place...... it's too far from my house.[Tooth]
Really though, stopped by today to buy some goodies awesome place and friendly people.
Holy crap these guys kick ass. Went in with little time and money, came out with badass installed parts in very short time. Rob's the shit with ar mods... I'll be spending lot's more of my money there for sure. He installed store bought items for free [Beer]
Thanks guys,
josh
Bowers is great to do business with.
Glad to help, Josh! Thanks for stopping by.
To clarify, just so i don't get bound up, I will install AR parts, to include complete assembly of an upper receiver for free if you buy the parts here AND:
1) Though it should be obvious, first and for most, its LEGAL. Certain combinations of parts create federally regulated arms, which I am not licensed to create. or deal with. I will not knowingly break any federal or state laws.
2) Its safe. This mostly comes from the possibility to follow some one else's work, but can be brought on by a desire on the customers parts to use unsafe components against my recommendation. I reserve the right to evaluate and make this determination with no outside input. If i say its unsafe, there is no appeal.
3) I don't have to cut metal. This is largely a caveat for pinned and or welded muzzle devices, though could include other things. The free services are ARMORING. It gets to gun smithing, there will be charges involved.
4)Its not time sensitive. Free services are available on a first come, first served basis unless i have made outside agreements. They are free as i have time. I will not promise completion times on things that aren't being paid for. Most of the time its while you wait, but the more busy we get, the less realistic that becomes. If you need something fast on a promised schedule, money talks.
This is a service we like to provide for our customers as we are able. I do not in anyway promise that this will always be available, or make guarontee on any arms sight unseen. I reserve complete control to modify this arrangement or discontinue it at my discretion.
I hate having to write that kind of shit, but its the way of the world. For the cool people i generally meet here, the answer is, buy from us, and i'll put it on. Mess with me, and i'll throw stuff at you. ;)
Lol @ Rob's last paragraph, but another satisfied customer here. Had Rob install some night sights for me yesterday, that I should have bought from them lol.
Robb has been a great addition to Bowers-Mike and Robb run the place like a business is meant to be run [Beer]
I stopped by Bower's today to let them look at some issues I was having with my Stag. Walked out with 4 new components! 3 I had been looking for, 1 to help with the issue I'm having. Even have them ordering in some more for me. Great guys to deal with, fun to chat with, very knowledgable. As already stated, I will be doing business with them again!
I can't say enough about this place, to walk into a place and get greated like they have known you forever. I can go on but you owe it to your self to stop in there. Rob has hooked up my gun twice now. Thanks guys
They certainly kick ass. On 4 occasions now, I have left the shop with zero remaining cash. It is like they KNOW exactly how much money I have.
The service is great, the atmosphere is great. It just feels like family.[Beer]
Stopped by Bowers today for a rail panel, and ended up with a panel, and a new set of Ameriglos for the G20. Love these sights, and as always, Rob and Mike are great to do business with. Rob had the sights on, in about ten minutes, and I was on my way.

Another great deal at Bowers. They've got everything in stock that I always want. ALWAYS leave there with just enough money for a HappyMeal from McyD's. Thanks for the great hook-up Mike on the LPK's. You guys really kick mucho ass..
I had a great visit at this shop today, I went in to get my AR fixed and ended up with a fixed AR as well as a new forearm/afg for my 2nd AR and a gun belt.
Always good to support our local businesses.[Beer]
Great store, great guys!
Highly recommend!
Went in today for the first time. Cant say one bad thing, great customer service, answered the questions I had, had everything I was looking for in the color I wanted at great prices, sucked that I was on a time crunch but ill def be back to pick up other stuff, thanks guys![Beer]
+3
Last three trips to the store have been great. Good advice on a couple parts, some I was able to install myself and another Rob installed while I waited.
Mike was great helping me figure out some Woolrich items to get.

Store Hours?
Met Rob at lunch today - great conversation about an upcoming Glock purchase - he already has a list of mods he will do for me..and I don't even have the gun yet
Very helpful - highly recommend
Had a great dinner with Mike and Chris tonight after the store closed.
Thanks for ordering my new rifle bag Mike.
Big +1 for Mike and Rob.
Went above and beyond to help me get what I was looking for, they'll definitely be getting my business in the future... despite the sticker for "the other site" on their display counter.
+1...these guys ABSOLUTELY hooked me up. I am a customer for LIFE.
Stopped in yesterday to buy myself some Father's Day stuff. Great visit with Mike and Robb as always. Robb shared some info on some recent training and Mike was a fountain of knowledge as always. Thanks for being the store you are.
[Coffee]
As an update, my hours, like Mike's, now are the stores hours: Mon-Sat 10am-6pm. I will make a point of posting notices when I am out of office for training... And on that note, onto another thread.
Thanks again, guys - this upper is sweet!
Good group of guys that seem to be very knowledgable and very helpfull. They also have a good selection of accessories to choose from, especially for the AR-15's. I went in today and they quickly installed an AAC 51t blackout that they had in stock at no cost besides the price of the flash hider. Unfortunately for me they're down the street from my house so I see Bowers Tactical becoming a strain on my wallet. Next in line is that dedicated .22 upper.
Another happy customer here! Absolutely phenomenal group of guys. I wish I had discovered them long ago, but glad I know now. Can't wait to do more business with them!
Simply awesome guys to deal with.
Some strange 'Bermuda Triangle' thing with my wallet.
Apparently it is simply not possible for me to exit the shop with any remaining cash. It is however, worth every penny.
My favorite accessory shop! Great guys to deal with and I would not hesitate to go back. In fact I need to hit it this week!
I think all my kudos for these guys was lost in the great crash of 2012 (which also wiped out my account on this site) and I want to give credit where it's due.
I've bought a lot of gear through these fellas and employed their excellent gunsmithing services on more than one occasion, on several different weapon systems. They've made a loyal customer out of me with their competitive pricing and top-notch customer service. Most recently had an APEX kit installed in my Shield and it's smooth as butter now. A+ for Mike and Rob at Bower's. You can't go wrong taking your business here. [Beer]
I stopped by the other day after I lost some parts building my first lower. Not only did they have the parts I needed and install them, they gave it a good once over and found a spring that I had put in upside down.
Super nice and very helpful. It's extremely nice to have a shop like Bowers around.
Had a barrel nut i couldn't get off and Rob and Mike were able to get it off... Thanks!~
Just had Rob install my KAC URX II rail on my SBR. Even despite a minor hiccup, it was done in very good time, and you couldn't be the price anywhere. Great shop and very willing to share knowledge. You guys have earned another customer!
My first time in there today and they were very helpful and good prices! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.
Stopped in today for first time, picked up a bunch of stuff and had a lower built while looking around. Great store, great people and the prices were awesome!
Dropped in Friday to have a lower/stock assembled, great quick work, explained stuff abour ARs i didn't know (which is a lot). Lots of nice stuff, will have to come back again...
Stopped by for some quick work done on the MP-10 that was passed my skill level. Great work done as i waited, plus Robert passed on some good knowledge about using my rifle in cold/snowy weather (hunting season).
A few weeks ago I was looking for a chamber brush for the MP-15 and mp-10, went to that one store down the street they didn't have it, but Mike of course did, should have gone to Bowers first to look for them.
Thanks guys!
