I like my .40 the best, and I have the most confidence in it. However I have been carrying the 9mm the most as its smaller and lighter.
i have a .45 Minimax, its a small version of a 1911. It's not the most expensive gun but it shoots well and i can conceal it in my car or in my business quite nicely (i dont have ccw yet).

lol i do carry it in my car and at my business. Actually i am just now gettting the desire to get a ccw permit. I havent really looked to hard at the requirements but i think my army service qualifies for the training. But i dont have any extra money right now either as I am saving to buy my first AR. Since i really dont do much but live at my business i figure i am ok for now.
90% of the time is .40
other 10% is 9mm for me.

CCW in process. Got a G30 ready to go, and want to pick up a 340pd for added options when desired.

I remember that you were pleased that you had just gotten it on the day that I did make it to the southern shoot, and I actually, since that day have been checking into them quite seriously. However since you are the only one that I know that currently has one, I was hoping to check with you about trying it out the next time I make it out on a shoot before picking one up. The offer is very generous though, so thanks!
Can I ask, have you had the opportunity to put any .38 rounds downrange with it and if so, how would you describe that experience, as opposed to "itfukkinblistersmyhands"?
I'm not too big on .38 but the .357 package allows the option when desired.
I would like very much to try one out first of course considering the base price. Then if I still want one, I figure that I can potentially look around for one that someone else has purchased and decided against.

I have shot both out of it. With 38's, it's pretty tame really. Even comfortable. I think part of the problem may be the microscopic grips on it too. I'm eventually going to get the Crimson Trace grips, which are a bit bigger. I practice with both 357's and 38's just to be proficient as possible under stress. I load 357 Glasers for my defensive load. I am trying to be at the next north shoot, but I'm still 50/50 due to car issues. I'm always 100% for the south shoots. Karl.
