These look pretty cool. Ought to provide the same function as the more expensive options at a (removable) fraction of the cost. I'll be ordering one soon.

If I didn't have a nice, badger-esque aluminum knob sitting around waiting to be installed on my heavy barrel M700 I'd consider one of these; but I really like the aluminum knob. I just need to get up the gumption to grind down my bolt handle to take the knob...[Eek3]
I went the badger route
wish I would have kept it stock
First I have seen this product. I think I need to get one.
Those are huge and ugly in person.
I have shot a rifle that had one on it. It was ok. They would sell 10x as many if they would charge closer to the $3 its worth.
Sometimes I just gotta sit back and scratch my head a little.
This is one of those times.
Function over fashion boys...
Plus its under $30 and you can install it yourself. What does a bolt handle job cost $100-$150?
Hehehehe "bolt handle job"[ROFL1]
I was thinking along the lines of "were you having trouble operating the bolt they way it came from the factory?"
Although I suppose I like the extended frame safety on 1911's, so I really don't have much room to point fingers.
Still think that looks like a soup can hanging off the rifle. [Coffee]
She wishes it was a "soup can"!
And I am picking up a new rifle that has one... So it may be for sale here soon. Stop ruining the market!
Bert do you do bolt handle threading?
???
If that is what you are paying you are getting totally bent over.
For a knob install $40.00-50.00 usually covers it not including the cost of the knob.
I could see $100-150.00 for fluting(which is a waste IMO) but not for a simple knob install.
That silly plastic thing just looks like cheap crap. You want to hang that on your $1K + tackdriver?
For what its worth...
Just used mine today; and I can tell you, it worked great. It is a perfectly adequate solution for improving you bolt lift and cycling. I was skeptical at first, but once I was behind the rifle you couldn't even tell it was there, It just works.
If I didn't already have a Badger bolt now sitting on my bench I would for sure keep it... but as always I will be throwing good money after bad at another rifle. [Neene1]
So look for it: Coming Soon to a Trading Post near you...
Or go buy one your self...
"Perfectly Adequate" and DYI...
