Twisted irony or sincere (Mike Vick)?

I have no respect for this guy as a result of his history but that's my prerogative. A dog for Vick? One of two choices I say;



1. Nah...a flat f*** you Mike!

or,

2. Sure, you get in a pit with a trained Bully Kutta with a T-bone strapped to your dick and if you win (another dead dog) you can have one. You lose...well...no quarter right?

Give him a toy chihuahua. Can't really fight with that breed... unless he's fighting butterflies. After all, he says it's for his kids right?

Anything bigger than 10lbs, I say give him your option #1.

He's such a DB, but who knows, maybe if he actually learns to love an animal, it'll help

I have no problem with it.

He needs to be strung up by his nuts with paracord for 72 hours...





Just to see if I " genuinely care".

Baltimore city had a narco break-in at a dealer's house last week. Besides narcotics, the narco squad found a pit bull training gym, down in the basement along with 3 training pit bulls. These pit bulls proved too docile for the ring, so they used them as sparring partners for there prize-fighting dogs. They had numerous bite marks on the dog's. The dog's were taken to an animal shelter. These pit bulls need a loving owner, and I can't think of a better owner than Michael Vick.
Vick served his time, now let's see if he can prove himself, off the football field as well; with loving care for these pit bulls.

I'm a hunter and love to go hunting, as such I would like to say that anyone who mistreats an animal deserves the most brutal punishment that would be allowed.
I have four dogs and have grown up with dogs and I would rather shoot a human before I would mis-treat an animal. Even when I hunt I make sure its the quickest kill possible and only do so to have the meat, Im not in it for trophies.
I have known some of the sweetest pitbulls that would make a mini pincher look like a vicious guard dog in comparison. I blame this whole pit fighting thing on the stupid wannabe thugs that think they are badass for doing such.

I would personally like to take out some of my aggressions on some of these tough guys.

To answer the thread question I would have to say NO. I think that he shouldn't have been out of jail so soon and back in the NFL.

He was fighting dogs. He paid his time. He should have a dog if he wants. When I was a kid, we all went to the chicken fights and I never thought a thing about it. It's just what people did. I'm glad he's back on the football field, I love to watch him play. He's the best player in the NFL by far and will probably win the MVP this year. I wish he was on my favorite team!!

he did his time, he lost millions, he had to restart, let the dude have a dog.

Who cares if he has a dog?

I say this, with a couple modifications. He has to win, come out with parts intact, without killing or seriously injuring the dog. And he has to do it with the T-bone in the aforementioned location, and a pork chop cup on.

Was it court ordered that he couldn't get a dog?

Does he genuinely want a dog because he misses the companionship of a pooch? Or is this some publicity stunt to dupe the public into thinking he's honestly sorry for horrendously mistreating animals?

My initial thoughts are that he's a punk MF who doesn't deserve a 2nd chance at being a role model for children let alone get another dog. I'm not even a football fan really but I used to enjoy watching this guy play. He's so incredibly talented and entertaining to watch. That being said, I feel that these spoiled overpaid athletes need to be held to an extemely high standard when it comes to ethics.

If he does get a dog it'll probably be the most spoiled dog ever. People will be watching and he'll want to show that he's a changed man whether he is or not.

Even though I'm personally against dog fighting, it is a big and legal sport in Afganistan. It is very hard to get a ccw here in Maryland; but the next best way to protect yourself in the inner city here in Baltimore is a pit bull.
I don't own any dog's currently at the moment; but if I would pick one for protection, it would be a mastiff.
