You could just barely hear the singers sing for a second until their mic's got turned on. Like I said, this occured a few time - noticed it first with Fergie.
I just wonder if it was done intentionally to show the audience that they were really singing and not just lip sync'ing (had plenty of controversey on that topic through the years.

I have heard cuts of C.A. and her FUBAR of the SSB. For a "Professional" entertainer to foul up the most revered song at the most revered sporting event in the Nation is pathetic.
Hell, I have been to plenty of sporting events where a 9 year old belted it out loud and clear.
I think an earlier post hit the nail on the head: if they would quit trying to "Hip it Up" and just sing it the way it is meant to be sung: From the Heart.
As far as Rosanne's version- she should have been taken out to the parking lot afterwards and molested with a chain saw.
From a musician - I know they are "known" for their use of Autotune. However, groups always use way too much of the stupid program. The show in its entireity was too concieved. They had some good ideas but they just didn't pull them off. And what was with the outfits? Were they on the soundtrack of Tron or something? I thought it was horrible, but not as horrible as messing up the NATIONAL ANTHEM. Did you see the horror on the soliders faces? HAHAH.
