We can always hope. As always I won't know if I'm in for sure until pretty soon before, but if I can I'll be there. :)
Brian
ummmm. I'll be there...
Well since some of the vampires we have on this site that obviously don't sleep and decide to call the shoot a go at 4am and cause me to miss it. I will deffinatley make this one.
Plus I have been loading and buying ammo like I only have one week to live. So I need to do some serious shooting.
Vampires??, Who could You be refering too?
Oh, it wasn't 4 A.M. it was 3 A.M.
Hey Hunter, I'm going to the south shoot this Saturday. If weather is nice.. Feel free to stop by and shoot a couple mags with me..Quote:

How about Harris Park it is a lot closer and if weather permits I would be willing to go there.Quote:

Harris Park is just north of Bailey when you hit the top of crow hill you head north about 12 miles. It is about a 45 minute drive from Denver the only problem is you cant get to the range in a car you need a 4x4. There is a solution to this you can get with in a 1/4 mile of the range and there is a big open area to park and everybody can pile into the 4x4's for the last 1/4 mile.
When I say you need a 4x4 I don't mean it is really nasty hard core 4x4 it is just bad enough that a car will not cut it. I go there all the time if it is dry in my truck in 2 wheel drive you just need the ground clearance.
My buddy went to Harris Park a couple weeks ago, he said it was pretty nice. He also mentioned the truck requirement, though.
Brian
I won't be able to make it as it's our 1-year anniversary 8)
I have 'other' plans
I would be willing to go to Harris Park.. Can I follow someone in??
Weather permiting it sounds like it will be me you and marlin if we decide to do it later in the week we can all pick a mutual spot to meet.Quote:

WELL, it did say 62 earlier today
OK, Back to this thread. :D
Who's in and Who would like to go to the Harris Park spot?
Makes no difference to me I am in for either spot. As far as Harris Park those with cars that big flat open area off the the right where the shotgun shells were in the road is were they can park. Then just hitch a ride the rest of the way with somebody with a truck.
I will leave up to the rest of you to pick where you want to have the shoot.
I'm down for trying Harris Park. As always, I'll have to see on the homework situation, but it's worth a shot (ha ha  ).
Brian
I've never been to a shoot at the St. Vrain location, so that's where I'd prefer to go for the April shoot.
But if the majority ends up wanting to go to Harris Park, I'll go.
I won't commit to going yet. (don't want it to snow) But I think I would prefer the Harris Park spot.
I hope to make this one, so I'd rather it be in St Vrain.
I'm in. I can do either location as long as someone doesn't mind me riding the last bit with them.
Unless a 91 escort would have enough ground clearence? I've done some pretty crazy offroading with it....
I think I can make this one
the escort will have issues with only one spot assuming that creek doesnt get too big.
HP is quite a drive but I like the longer range available.
I may not be able to make it after all, we'll see.
Here's a thought, {Yes, it hurt. :P } We could go to the Harris Park location, Then After We wrap up, We could go to AK47 Man's new location, and celebrate His Grand opening.
I just had some 'negotiations' with my wife. I can go if it's at the North location since that's only an hour away. I sure hope that's where it ends up since my right forefinger has got like athletes foot or something.
Pretty sure they make a cream for that.... ;)Quote:

Let's go to St. Vrain this time.
Any objections?
'tis OK wid me :)
Woohoo! I can't wait. Maybe I can finally stop applying caladryl to my trigger finger. [calvin]
Since I will prob miss this one, I have no objections.
My only objection is I have to drive through Boulder. [dead] :P
Fuck Boulder, I took I-25 all the way up last time and it was pretty fast. Made the horrible mistake of going down 93 the way back, including Boulder, and it sucked the big one.
Brian
Maybe I will have my new rifle by then.
This will be my first shoot with CO-ARF. Pawnee vs. Harris Park seems to be undetermined...is the meeting place (Firestone?) still the same place and time (BTW what time?)
St. Vrain vs. Harris Park, not Pawnee, and it's been decided that St. Vrain is the location.Quote:
