today i took my brother to garden of the gods and when i came home my broken down pos car was missing the rear drivers side tire and the radiator. someone in the middle of the day took them and i live two blocks from a police station what the hell, i asked around the block and no one saw a thing.
There are huge import car theft rings in CoS and Thornton. We were at Cave of the Winds on Saturday.

Sounds like a metal theft - was the wheel aluminum or steel? radiator is worth a few bucks for metal in it most likely.
Hopefully the car isn't on the street? City will stop and give you an inop ticket most likely if its parked on the curb. Can't win.
I imagine it is a neighbor. Someone who knows your schedule or watched you leave or has been watching the vehicle sit for a while

Its not just the Springs! When I lived in Denver 10 years ago. I had 3 fully stripped Honda's left in the alley behind my house!! With in 2 months! Last one I saw the little Bastards running away. I hate thieves on both a moral and practical level. I am fundamentally lazy and don't like to work more than I have to. When someone steals I think about how much I or someone else had to work to get it and get mad about it.
